The buffet offers a rich and fresh variety of seafood, including beef, pork, and lamb chops, as well as scallops and large shrimp, with the massive crab legs being particularly popular. Grilled sushi and hand rolls are also well-liked, especially when paired with different types of alcohol for added flavor.
The dining environment is comfortable, with a suitable distance between tables that allows for relaxation. The design of different areas paired with various alcoholic beverages adds a sense of ritual, creating a pleasant overall atmosphere ideal for enjoying a leisurely dining experience.
The service efficiency is high, the replenishment of ingredients is quick, and the collection of empty plates is very timely, making the dining experience smoother. The staff is friendly and professional, making one feel at home.

Recently, there has been a super famous high-end buffet restaurant that is extremely hard to book. You have to rush in early to have a chance at getting a reservation. I watched too many videos and really wanted to eat there. As a result, I managed to grab three time slots on time, and later offered the other two time slots to friends.
What I like the most is that each area is paired with different types of alcohol. They have sake, millet wine, white wine, red wine, and various cocktails matched with different sections. I have a ceremonial feeling that I should only take items from that particular section if I'm going to drink from that section’s alcohol. Drinking white wine first is really quite bitter, but when paired with seafood, another sweetness emerges. It really feels very ceremonial; I believe people who love wine will be very happy with this.
🌟 Beverage Sharing
In addition to the alcohol paired with each area, there is also a dedicated beverage area. The cocktails are collaborated with a famous bar in Tainan. If you check out bars in Tainan, you will definitely know it. However, this time I only tried the one in the middle. It is truly suitable for this kind of family-friendly buffet. It is basically a "sister drink," with a light alcohol flavor, paired with the fresh sweetness of fruits, making it very refreshing and delicious.
🌟 Sushi & Seafood
My favorite is the freshly made seared sushi: seared wagyu, seared scallops, and seared salmon, all having an additional fragrance from the searing process. I highly recommend it to those who are not that fond of raw food.
Hand rolls are also made on the spot, and there are many flavors to choose from. However, you can tell that the staff is quite tired because it has become mechanical to a certain extent.
🌟 Barbecue and Fried Items
For fried items, my favorites are the fried shrimp and fried oysters. They have no fishy taste and aren't too oily. For the grilled items, grilled oysters often require queuing. I only got to try one thanks to a friend who helped me get it. It was also very fresh and juicy, completely without any fishy taste. Highly recommended!
🌟 Desserts
My favorite is their ice cream, and I think the Swiss milk flavor is delicious. As for desserts, the red-fleshed guava Basque cheesecake is very tasty and quite unique.
Overall, I think the experience was excellent. Whether it’s the speed of clearing dishes, the staff's service, or the variety and freshness of the food, I believe it is above standard. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys this type of buffet. Personally, I am not very strong in these battles, but this is a place I would want to return to with my friends.
This Christmas, we chose to celebrate at the hard-to-book Island Language restaurant.
I didn't expect the traffic in Nangang to compete with that of the Hsinchu Science Park.
A short 10-minute route could take up to 30 minutes due to the congestion.
I was nervous about missing our dining time, but luckily everything went smoothly in the end.
Island Language highly recommends these two dishes:
Rosemary Lamb Chops + Bamboo Charcoal Salt
Pan-Seared Scallops with Wine-Infused Shrimp
For each dish, they also prepare corresponding wines, which shows a lot of thoughtfulness.

Located near the MRT Nangang Exhibition Center Station, it is the high-priced buffet restaurant of Hi-Lai Hotel. Currently, reservations are required far in advance.
The overall dining environment is very good, the tables are not too close together, and the ingredients are replenished and empty plates are collected quickly. There are a wide variety of seafood, and a dazzling variety of Chinese and Western dishes. Staple dishes include beef, pork, mutton chops, scallops, prawns, etc. In addition to roast duck and roasted pork, there are also bucket-loaded chicken, fried Changchun rolls, etc. Each themed dining area will provide more distinctive dishes than usual, and each dining area will also have different small glasses of wine for dining. Match the time. The seafood section is also very fresh. Among them, the huge crab legs are eye-catching and are also a very popular dish. The performance of tea, wine and desserts in the beverage area was also okay. The meal during dinner time was long and you could eat slowly, but even so, you still didn't get half of the food because you really couldn't eat that much.
This is a higher-priced buffet. Basically, the food served is completely worthy of its price. However, the location is a bit far away and it is not easy to order. Occasionally, it is worth coming to eat on some special days.
