The drink menu is extensive, and the cappuccino with osmanthus and the hojicha latte not only look great but also offer a delightful taste and aroma. The dough of the cinnamon roll is fluffy and very satisfying. I also recommend the bread with the exquisite flavor of yuzu pepper.
The store has a calm atmosphere, with books and miscellaneous goods arranged, and the table lamps create a pleasant space. The interior is small, and the bread displayed like art is attractive.
The staff is friendly, and they warm up the bread for you when you dine in. Since only one party is allowed inside at a time, you need to wait outside.
📍Shilin District, Taipei City (near MRT Zhishan Station)
A refined little bakery in a Japanese style, perfect for creative souls 🥖🍞
This bread shop in Tienmu has been around on the map for a really long time! Finally went to check it out 😝
The conclusion is that I really, really like it. By the time I wrote this review, I've already ordered takeout four times and dined in once within a month 😆🫶🏻
I really love the aesthetic of this shop from the outside. It reminds me of a bakery I really liked in Fukuoka called Dacomecca, where the bread is displayed like works of art 🖼️ It has a lot of character.
The store's space is quite small, and you need to be aware that they only accommodate one group of customers at a time. If there are people inside, whether for dine-in, takeout, or if you have a reservation, you need to line up outside.
Most of the bread types are based on Japanese styles, but I also saw some European sourdough options.
I highly recommend dining in as there is no time limit, and the staff will help warm up the bread. The Sicilian is very refreshing and has a stronger coffee flavor.
✨ Yuzu Pepper Butter Roll ($50)
The item that I can't stop thinking about is this one!
The most famous item here is the Salt Flower Butter Roll, and the filling has a wonderful yuzu pepper flavor with a slightly sandy texture—it's not overly spicy, making for a perfect combination.
I also really enjoy other breads like the Pineapple Bun and Focaccia, but they are not very cheap, averaging between 30-80 NT dollars. However, they are all of such good quality that you can taste it right from the first bite.

Will I visit again: Yes!

Note:
🔸 Cash only 💰
🔸 Unscheduled breaks, you can follow the shop's IG for updates.
I noticed a café with many customers on a street just off the main road, so I decided to check it out!
I visited around 4 PM on a Saturday, and there were quite a few customers buying bread. The inside of the café was spacious!
[Atmosphere]
The interior also featured books and miscellaneous goods, creating a very calm atmosphere where you can enjoy the café leisurely. Each table had a lamp on it, which contributed to a very comfortable ambiance.
[Taste Evaluation]
There were so many drink options that I was quite undecided! The osmanthus cappuccino I ordered was aesthetically pleasing, slightly bitter in taste, but its fragrance complemented the deliciousness of the bread well! The hojicha latte that my friend ordered looked very rich, and they enjoyed dipping the bread into it.
We each ordered a cinnamon roll. It was extremely good and very satisfying. The bread was fluffy.
[Overall Evaluation]
With so many menu items and the pleasant atmosphere, it makes you want to visit repeatedly! I encourage everyone to find the perfect bread and drink pairing!
