A refined little bakery in a Japanese style, perfect for creative souls 🥖🍞

This bread shop in Tienmu has been around on the map for a really long time! Finally went to check it out 😝

The conclusion is that I really, really like it. By the time I wrote this review, I've already ordered takeout four times and dined in once within a month 😆🫶🏻

I really love the aesthetic of this shop from the outside. It reminds me of a bakery I really liked in Fukuoka called Dacomecca, where the bread is displayed like works of art 🖼️ It has a lot of character.

The store's space is quite small, and you need to be aware that they only accommodate one group of customers at a time. If there are people inside, whether for dine-in, takeout, or if you have a reservation, you need to line up outside.

Most of the bread types are based on Japanese styles, but I also saw some European sourdough options.

I highly recommend dining in as there is no time limit, and the staff will help warm up the bread. The Sicilian is very refreshing and has a stronger coffee flavor.

✨ Yuzu Pepper Butter Roll ($50)
The item that I can't stop thinking about is this one!
The most famous item here is the Salt Flower Butter Roll, and the filling has a wonderful yuzu pepper flavor with a slightly sandy texture—it's not overly spicy, making for a perfect combination.

I also really enjoy other breads like the Pineapple Bun and Focaccia, but they are not very cheap, averaging between 30-80 NT dollars. However, they are all of such good quality that you can taste it right from the first bite.

🍄
Will I visit again: Yes!

Kadorar Bakery 🥯 嘉多娜 天然酵母麵包店
BakeryKowloon
Hovering beyond restaurants deserving of Foodies’ recognition, let’s taste some of Kadorar (嘉多娜)’s nationally renowned signature breads that are worth the dough. A bite into these warm, chewy, crusty, substantial and fragrant edamame blueberries cheese tea breads instantly opens the floodgates to our childhood memories of sweet dreams. We definitely could make a meal out of these satisfactorily moist petite delicacies. It’s one of our best “Shut-up-and-take-my-money!” dining eXperience if you support bakery people who make astonishingly amazing breads, show love for democratic freedom towards liberal living as well as peaceful lifestyles. #香港人加油

Willa Jean
BakeryNew Orleans
Can't disagree with their self description: Adding a modern touch to traditional southern cuisine, Willa Jean elevates classic dishes with creative flair and innovative twists while staying true to the roots of the region's culinary heritage. Willa Jean is a cherished bakery in new orleans's heart, known for its comforting southern fare. The place is modern and bright with its glass walls covering half of the room. The biscuits are fantastic and a must have when being in NOLA. We had the fried chicken and tabasco honey biscuit and the bacon and egg and pimento cheese biscuit. Too bad we couldn't try more from the menu. The service was very good, friendly and attentive.

Aunty Ann @ NU Empire
BakerySubang Jaya
A typical Aunty Anne chain that is famous for its pretzels. Plenty of different kinds to choose from. They also sell other pastry sticks, sausage and cheese nuggets if pretzels arent your thing. There is also lemonade for drinks and dips awailable for extra charge. There are seasonal promotional items to try. Food is packed with easy to eat packaging; making it a good snack to eat while walking around. Pretzel tasted nice with soft texture and well seasoned. Lemonade (not in pic) is also quite decent, with a nice sour refreshing taste. Service was quick as expected and staff were friendly.
