"Chicken Soup Sang" is a chain brand focusing on chicken soup ramen, with a clear overall positioning: friendly flavors and stable style, allowing diners to enjoy a bowl of "safe" ramen without overthinking. The space at the Shuanglian Station branch is clean and bright, with a smooth pace of food delivery, making it suitable for everyday dining or quickly solving a meal.

This time, I tasted two signature ramen bowls with different orientations, showcasing Chicken Soup Sang's overall style of "stable but not adventurous."

Creamy Bacon Ramen
The flavor of this ramen nearly matches my expectations: rich creamy aroma, distinctly salty and savory bacon; the first impression is comfortable and pleasant. The broth is slightly thick, and the fusion of creaminess and chicken soup is fairly smooth, making the initial bites quite satisfying. However, as time goes on, the greasy sensation accumulates, the flavor turns monotonous, and the feeling of heaviness becomes noticeable. This is a bowl of ramen that is "tasty but needs moderation," suitable for sharing or indulging in when craving bold flavors, but not the type you can easily finish on your own.

Tokyo Chicken White Soup
In contrast, this bowl presents a more balanced experience. The chicken white soup broth is easy to drink, with moderate saltiness, not overly seasoned nor deliberately pursuing thickness, making it warm and plain to taste. The chicken soup aroma is clear, but it lacks a particularly distinctive personality, being a conventional and error-proof choice. The noodles have good broth absorption, and the overall execution is stable, but it doesn't leave a strong memorable impression.

Overall, Chicken Soup Sang's strength lies in its "stability." Whether in the broth, toppings, or overall structure, it maintains the standard expected from a chain restaurant. If you're hoping for something stunning or uniquely flavored, you might find it conservative; however, if you're simply looking to enjoy a bowl of reliable ramen near Shuanglian Station, Chicken Soup Sang remains a reasonable and reassuring choice.

This cute ramen shop is located in Shuanglian Station. If you come to eat at almost 8 o'clock on weekdays, you don't have to queue at all. However, at 8:30, there are actually 3.4 groups of customers lined up outside.

The exterior design of the store is very cute, with green as the main color. The chicken soup-san's logo is a human face wearing a chicken headgear. The interior is changed to a stable wood tone, which has a comfortable Japanese atmosphere; however, the space between the tables inside The distance is too close and the space is slightly narrow

There is an automatic waiting and calling machine outside the store, which is very convenient; as soon as we took our seats, the clerk served us hot tea. The tea was actually matcha, which was a plus! If it’s not enough, you can ask the clerk to fill it up; there is also a pot of cold water on the table, and you can also take it by yourself (the cold water cup is super cute and has the Chicken Soup Sang logo)

For internal consumption, each person has a bowl of noodles. There are a total of five ramen to choose from on the menu, two bowls are with clear soup base, and three bowls are with thick soup base.
This ramen shop has an item that is rarely seen in other ramen shops, which is "skewers". When ordering ramen, you can buy skewers at an additional price. Add $29 for one skewer of chicken gizzards and one skewer of chicken, and add $39 for two skewers of chicken; There are honey soft-boiled eggs, please add some extra

Tokyo chicken white soup ramen $218
The soup tastes like Taiwanese chicken porridge. It's very rich and delicious. You'll want to finish the whole bowl. However, the soup is too little, which makes you unsatisfied.
This bowl tastes more like Taiwanese thick chicken noodle soup than Japanese ramen, but it tastes very good. I will order this bowl again next time I come.
In addition to 3 pieces of chicken barbecued pork, this bowl of ramen also contains sweet potatoes, which is very special. The sweet potatoes are well processed and not too soft. There is also a small piece of corn shoots, but I don’t like corn shoots, so I gave it to my friend. Got it

Sakura Yuzu$218
The aroma of cherry blossoms and grapefruit is very strong. You can smell it as soon as the spoon is brought to your mouth. The ingredients of this bowl of noodles also have the same smell, but I don’t like it very much. It has a sense of essence. I just took a few sips of the soup to taste it. I can’t handle it myself. Finished the bowl; if I come again next time, I will give this ramen a pass

After comparing the two bowls, I personally think the Tokyo Chicken White Soup is the winner. I want to try the truffle flavor next time.

The additional chicken meatballs are solid and the chicken gizzards are crispy. Both are delicious. It is recommended to add $29 to get both.

After finishing the ramen, there was a complimentary ball of ice cream (vanilla flavor today). Even the small plate was iced. It tasted very refreshing and was a great ending to the meal!

Overall, it is considered an affordable option in the Taipei ramen scene. Both of them ordered skewers at an extra price, and the ramen also came with ice cream. The meal for two people only cost NT$504. Although I don’t like both ramen flavors very much, I still like it. Willing to come again to try other flavors
