The selection of drinks is diverse. Although the combination of cassia seed red oolong tea with royal thick milk is fragrant and rich, the tea flavor is somewhat overshadowed, resulting in an overall ordinary taste. The pearls have a nice texture, and the drink has its unique characteristics; it’s a safe choice. The pine needle thick milk is refreshing, and the king pearls have a moderate sweetness with great chewiness, making it easy to drink without being overly rich.
The store's environment is elegant, and the rooftop tea garden on the third floor is particularly attractive. It's very rare to have such a large tea garden indoors, making it perfect for taking photos. The ambiance is beautiful, grand, bright, and clean. The design style is sophisticated, creating an overall comfortable setting that's ideal for a leisurely afternoon tea with friends.
The staff are friendly and offer a free tea tasting experience. It is recommended to take a number first before lining up, which effectively utilizes the waiting time. There are many people on holidays, so patience is required. Mobile reservations for ordering are convenient. The employees provide professional advice, and the tasting service is thoughtful.
I never expected that someone would specifically recommend bubble tea to me when I arrived in Taichung 🧋. Since it was said to be amazing, I made a special trip here to try it out. Upon entering, I was a bit startled by the design style; after all, it’s just a beverage shop, so how could it look so upscale? However, the overall ambiance is very comfortable, and the staff's service is quite good. If you are unsure about what to choose, they also offer drinks for you to sample, and if you take a long time deciding, they provide quite professional suggestions!
My friend and I were here for the first time, so we directly chose the drink that they let me sample on the spot. Personally, I found it really recommendable—this cup ❤️ Pine Needle Thick Milk. The name suggests a very refreshing taste; however, since I really enjoy popping boba, I added some King Pearls. The name is very cute, but it actually tastes quite similar to the regular boba, with moderate sweetness and great chewiness. Coupled with their tea flavor, it’s smooth and not cloying at all, and there’s a continuous light fragrance that makes you want to keep drinking!
Overall, I think the price is slightly higher, but the experience is quite good. If you have some free time with friends, you can really come here to enjoy afternoon tea and chat, making it very leisurely! I recommend it to everyone visiting Taichung!
A very popular hand-shaken drink shop, currently the most outrageous one I've seen, the crowd never gets smaller. If it weren't for the ability to reserve orders in advance with a mobile phone, it would probably be impossible to wait that long. The environment is very beautiful, grand, bright, and clean, and it even has branches overseas, making it extremely popular.
The drinks are really quite good, and they have their own specialties. The "Again Lemon Tart" with 80% sugar is truly perfect. You can basically order whatever you like without worrying about it being disappointing.

Visiting the famous “Tea 3000” on a holiday afternoon is practically a suicide mission. The shop is packed from the first floor to the second, with people sitting everywhere. The third floor is a reservation-only space for tasting tea and the rooftop tea garden, which is less crowded since there is nowhere to sit, allowing you to appreciate the elegant decor and atmosphere a little more.
Especially the rooftop tea garden is quite impressive; it's rare to see such a large tea garden created indoors. If you come here, you might as well head upstairs to check it out while you wait for your drinks since the wait can be quite long anyway.
In addition to serving drinks, the store also offers a free tea tasting experience. On weekends, expect to wait at least an hour for drinks. It’s recommended to grab a number for the tea tasting as soon as you enter, then queue up slowly to decide what to drink. This way, you're waiting for your drink and the tasting experience simultaneously, which saves time 😂. This time, my friends and I managed our time quite well; we finished the tea tasting just as our drinks were ready 👍.
For drinks, we ordered:
✨ Here’s a little tip for budget-conscious customers: I suggest joining the “Tea 3000” membership before ordering; they offer some drink discount coupons. If you visit during your birthday month, they also give a free coupon for Royal Pearls, which you can use immediately. A drink isn’t cheap, so a discount is helpful!
Next to the counter, there’s a tea tasting area. Since I love the scent of Cassia Seed Red Oolong, I chose this tea with thick milk to make a milk tea. The thick milk has a strong flavor, which somewhat overshadows the tea taste; it’s a bit of a pity. Opting for straight tea might let you better enjoy the floral notes. The pearls have a nice chewiness, but overall, it tastes just average; perhaps I didn’t pick a particularly good drink 🥺.
Considering the tea tasting experience paired with the drink, I think it’s quite a good value. Besides spending too much time waiting, the experience part is quite nice. However, if you exclude the experience, just the drinks are really on the pricey side. This time I came along with friends who hadn’t been before, otherwise, I wouldn’t have come specifically to buy them. But for those who haven’t been, I still highly recommend coming if you get the chance.

If you love tea, you can’t miss this place
Hermès in the Tea Industry: Three Thousand People to Eat Tea in Taichung
This restaurant has been on my pocket list for a long time.
I definitely can’t miss it when I come to Taichung this time.
It can be said to be a must-visit trip
The whole store looks like an online beauty store
There are quite a few locations and the whole store is very bright.
Everywhere is perfect for taking pictures. It’s great.
There are three floors in the store. You can go to the second floor and overlook the entire first floor.
Because I went there on weekdays
Business is actually pretty good. There are a lot of people in the store, so it’s a bit crowded.
This time I ordered Lishan Oolong Cold Brew Tea Muxia
A relatively heavily roasted tea
Anyone who drinks tea should know
Taiwan Lishan Mountain Tea is the top tea species in Taiwan.
The price is also very expensive
A small bottle of cold brew tea costs 150 yuan
But if I love tea, I will still buy it hahaha
Because I rarely drink heavily roasted teas
After drinking it, I actually didn’t like it very much. Maybe I’d rather drink something with a lighter flavor.
They also have tea tasting on site
It is conducted in the form of tea competition
Strictly control the grams of tea, the temperature of the water, and the soaking time
It’s exactly the same as the competition tea, allowing you to drink the tea’s advantages
This time I drank a more fragrant tea, and I can only say that it is indeed Lishan tea. In addition, there is no extra charge for participating in the tea tasting. I suggest that everyone can participate if you have time!
Had a glass of lemon tart juice.
After dinner, I still had some time, so I went to this famous restaurant in Taichung to have a drink and see what was special.
The decoration of the store is very comfortable, which is impeccable for a beverage store. While waiting to order, the waiter let me drink pine needle thick milk. The pine needle thick milk is really good, with a creamy texture and an aroma that is not found in ordinary milk tea. I myself ordered the Lemon Tart and Fresh Fruit Park.
Also, I really can't do lemon tart. I'm here to drink "tea", not "lemon tart juice". It's too sweet and greasy, making it uncomfortable to drink. Fresh Fruit Parkway is a delicious fruit tea, but nothing too special.
Except for the lemon tart juice, everything else is pretty good. But none can compare to Tennin 913 Tea King. As for the drinks alone, I would give it 3 stars, but due to the price, I would not come here to consume under normal circumstances, so I can only give it 2 stars.
It is recommended to order food first and then come to get drinks on site, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time. I passed by it the last time I came to Taichung, and the wait was always fifty minutes, so I gave up. I just have time today.
