In the dishes, the baked salted egg cheese fries and the pork chop are the most highly rated, with rich flavors and even seasoning. The spicy Italian pasta with Matsusaka pork and the sautéed shrimp with mushrooms have decent flavors, but the portions are on the smaller side.
The restaurant is primarily decorated in dark green and peacock motifs, creating an upscale atmosphere that's perfect for taking photos and celebrating special occasions.
The service attitude is good, and they offer birthday discounts, but sometimes the staff may not be focused enough, which could affect the dining experience.
Location: Da'an District, Taipei City
The gastropub is also a frontline area in the Eastern District.
This restaurant has branches, but it's my first time eating here,
so I was very much looking forward to it.
Unfortunately, the service was not very satisfactory.
The dishes were average, and the portions were rather small.
Overall, I personally wouldn't visit again.
🌟 Matsusaka Pork Spicy Pasta
The spiciness was mild, and the seasoning of the Matsusaka pork was on the lighter side.
The texture of the pasta was a bit too soft for my liking.
I didn't enjoy it that much, which I think is a bit regrettable.
🌟 Stir-fried Shrimp with Mushrooms
The seasoning was just right,
and it paired well with wine or drinks.
The shrimp was handled well and didn't have any off-putting smell.
It was acceptable.
As for the service, we encountered the issue of ordering first;
the staff didn't help us place our order at all,
so we waited over half an hour without any food being served.
Additionally, when we asked the staff for water,
they were preoccupied with chatting and we couldn't get anyone's attention.
Charging a service fee without providing good service is completely unacceptable.
I won't be visiting again.

★ Dish Reviews
Top Recommendations:
Baked Salted Egg Cheese Fries
→ A high-calorie dish! But it's delicious. The cheese and salted egg are generously provided, so if you love cheese and salted egg, don't miss this.
Pork Tomahawk
→ The most impressive part is the tomahawk meat; every bite carries the flavor of the seasoned tomahawk pork. It doesn't feel like anything is missing in the seasoning, and the savory flavor is just right. The risotto rice has a creamy texture characteristic of authentic Italian rice.
Other Dishes
High-Fiber Quinoa Grilled Chicken Salad
→ A large plate that looks satisfying just by appearance. The quinoa is also quite generous; it's a dish that fills both visual and stomach needs.
Salty Peanut Caramel Milkshake
→ A very rich milkshake with crushed peanut bits.
Spicy Grilled Matsusaka Pork Pasta
→ The pasta itself isn't particularly impressive, just has a spicy flavor, but the grilled Matsusaka pork is very well done.
Conclusion:
The meat dishes at ombre are all handled very well.

Dickson's Fooday's food review has been updated!

From a photography environment perspective, it's great for taking Instagram photos,
especially since there's a huge peacock to pose with🤣🤣🤣
However, when it comes to the deliciousness of the food,
it really falls short🥹
I still remember ordering pasta, risotto,
and some basic fried chicken and fries that day.
The pasta and risotto tasted like what you'd find at a basic roadside eatery,
nothing particularly memorable.
The fries were quite disappointing,
not matching the taste preferences of my friends and me.
Everything else was just ordinary in terms of ingredient quality.
I suggest if you want to take some photos,
you can come to check it out once.
If you're looking for good food,
I'm sure there are much better options available~
Especially since we came to celebrate each other's birthdays that day😧😧
And the food was really not impressive🤣🤣
A moment of awkwardness.
🤪🤪 Dickson’s rant 🤪🤪
If the girl is someone who loves taking photos in unique atmospheres,
come! Bring her here!
Take some pictures and see this amazing environment,
you can just be a good mobile phone stand for a bit and then call it a day~
After all, the dishes here, as I've described,
are forgettable, not a highlight.
It's all about the interior ambiance; the food is secondary!
Bring a girl for afternoon tea, have some drinks,
take some photos with the peacock.
Hone your photography skills;
it’s still worth a visit~~
