Location: Da'an District, Taipei City
The gastropub is also a frontline area in the Eastern District.
This restaurant has branches, but it's my first time eating here,
so I was very much looking forward to it.
Unfortunately, the service was not very satisfactory.
The dishes were average, and the portions were rather small.
Overall, I personally wouldn't visit again.
🌟 Matsusaka Pork Spicy Pasta
The spiciness was mild, and the seasoning of the Matsusaka pork was on the lighter side.
The texture of the pasta was a bit too soft for my liking.
I didn't enjoy it that much, which I think is a bit regrettable.
🌟 Stir-fried Shrimp with Mushrooms
The seasoning was just right,
and it paired well with wine or drinks.
The shrimp was handled well and didn't have any off-putting smell.
It was acceptable.
As for the service, we encountered the issue of ordering first;
the staff didn't help us place our order at all,
so we waited over half an hour without any food being served.
Additionally, when we asked the staff for water,
they were preoccupied with chatting and we couldn't get anyone's attention.
Charging a service fee without providing good service is completely unacceptable.
I won't be visiting again.
