❤️🔥 A-Hsia Turkey Rice - Second Generation ❤️🔥
These past two days, passing by the intersection on Zhongzheng Road, I discovered a new turkey rice restaurant that said A-Hsia Second Generation.
A-Hsia... sounds familiar, but where in Chiayi is A-Hsia Turkey Rice? I can't seem to recall... I only know that there's a famous A-Hsia restaurant in Tainan.
Let’s give it a try today! I waited in line at the entrance for about 10 minutes; it seems quite popular.
What I ordered:
❣️ Chicken Braised Rice
- Half chicken, half braised; the flavor is nice. It seems to be a way of eating that's unique to Chiayi. Sprinkled some pepper on it, and the taste was great. Too bad there was no soft-boiled egg; I love to break the soft-boiled egg and let the egg yolk flow down, mixing it with the rice to eat together!
❣️ Braised Pork Skin
- Chewy and delicious, it's pork skin. I originally wanted to order braised tofu, but it was sold out, so I switched to pork skin.
❣️ Blanched Vegetables
- Today's blanched vegetable was spinach, which was quite crunchy and tasty. It would have been better with some garlic paste.
❣️ Pork Rib Soup
- I actually wanted to order oyster soup, but it was unavailable, so I had to get the pork rib soup instead. The pork ribs were quite tender, so that was fine too.

Besides being closed on New Year's Eve, they are open from the first to the sixth day of the Lunar New Year. It seems the owner is ready to make a good profit!
