Shabu Shabu Tandane was founded by three friends who previously worked in well-known chain restaurant groups, pooling their resources to create "One Meat, One Craft, One Sauce." This is the main selling point of the boutique yakiniku restaurant "Shabu Shabu Tandane" in Taipei, where the menu features a variety of cuts from Japanese, Australian, and American wagyu beef. The chef customizes the cutting based on the different characteristics of each cut, producing five thicknesses: cube, thick cut, belly, sashimi, and thin cut. Through different cutting techniques and sauces, the best texture and flavor of the beef are showcased, embodying the spirit of "knife skills are culinary skills."

The dining model at Shabu Shabu Tandane is primarily à la carte, with a set menu priced at 2380 per person. If you have trouble deciding, you can try the set menu because the culinary professionals on-site will first understand your personal preferences and dining habits to arrange the dishes or help you with combinations. You don’t have to grill yourself, and the service is really good, hence the price is not cheap.

The menu includes appetizers, salads, raw beef, meat sushi, daily limited supply (priced by grams), Japanese wagyu, Australian wagyu, pork, chicken, seafood, offal, vegetables, main courses, and desserts. Of course, we can’t forget the beer options that pair perfectly with grilled meat!

The entrance to the restaurant looks small, but the interior space is quite large, featuring private rooms, a bar area, and dining tables. The environment is bright, clean, and tidy, making it suitable for personal dining, dates for two, or larger gatherings.

We had a large group; we could provide them with a budget or meal preferences, and the dishes were arranged for us. Then we could decide what to keep or modify. Some dishes are served individually while others are for sharing, with an overall price around 2500 per person, so you might want to reference the serving sizes.
