Maguro Spot
In Hawaii, you can basically see poke everywhere. This little shop is one we stumbled upon while having rice balls nearby! There were so many people queuing that it caught our attention ⚠️. When we got closer, we found that many Japanese people were also waiting to order...
So we decided to join the line to see what it’s all about. Actually, the queue moved quite quickly... When ordering, you can freely choose the ingredients you want and the sauce!
For example, I ordered salmon with shrimp 🦐 and paired it with vinegared rice! For the sauce, I chose their special mix called rainbow. It has a slightly salty and a little sweet flavor! Then, I got to decide whether to add other toppings...
I specifically added avocado 🥑, and my friend added seaweed and salmon roe! Overall, the freshness was quite enough... The fish 🐟 had a sweet taste! The sauce complemented everything well and went perfectly with the rice.
Overall, I personally really liked it. The combinations were unique, and the taste was quite good! If you come to Hawaii and are not too hungry, this is a great option!
