There are actually many choices on weekdays
The restaurants are not crowded, so there's no issue with waiting long
When Tim Ho Wan first came to Taiwan, I followed the trend and lined up once
At that time, I didn’t particularly like it
Later, I tried DimDimSum
And I still think DimDimSum is tastier than Tim Ho Wan🤣🤣🤣

🌟 King of Chives and Fresh Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll
This dish uses yellow chives
The flavor of chives is quite strong
Paired with rice noodle rolls and soy sauce, it’s very fragrant
The basic flavor is as imagined

🌟 Pan-fried Radish Cake
Since it’s a Hong Kong-style radish cake
It’s seasoned, so it has its own flavor
But after adding other dipping sauces
It enhances the original salty aroma with a different taste
The skin wasn’t fried very crispy; I personally think it’s on the softer side
I prefer a crunchier texture

The signature dish among the signatures at Tim Ho Wan
A must-order item
I remember when I ate it years ago, I thought it was super ordinary
But today, I think it's not bad
I believe it might be a temperature issue
The outer skin is sweet while the filling is salty-sweet
It indeed has a unique and delicious flavor😋😋😋

🌟 Tim Ho Wan Salted Egg Custard Bun
The salted egg bun is not like the piggy bun
The filling is denser
Not very liquidy
Not too sweet, and it pairs well with the outer skin without being sickening
However, the piggy bun from DimDimSum suits my taste better

🌟 XO Sauce Lap Cheong Fried Rice
The fried rice is well-separated and has a nice wok aroma
But the XO sauce isn’t prominent, which is a bit unfortunate
The lap cheong part has a very Hong Kong feeling
I think it's quite good

🌟 Pineapple Bun with Cold Butter
I was shocked to see the actual item
Because you get a free one when you become a member
But I’ve had many pineapple buns
This one is the smallest
For the cold and hot part, because the bread itself isn’t hot enough
The butter doesn’t have that melted feel
I feel it’s a bit of a pity

Overall, I think DimDimSum is better
And the portion is also smaller than DimDimSum
The prices seem to be about the same
So in terms of cost-performance ratio, DimDimSum wins
That’s my general impression.
