TGIF is all about eating at an izakaya. It was quite difficult to find a same-day reservation this time. After making many calls, I finally made an appointment with this one.

There is a row of seats outside the store, and the overall atmosphere is very good, with a traditional Japanese atmosphere. But there is a lot of fumes in the store and the air conditioning is not strong. It is really stuffy🥵

I randomly ordered some pork, skewers, roast beef, fried chicken, squid noodles, grilled mentaiko potatoes, etc.

The beef was well seasoned but too old. The sashimi and mentaiko baked potatoes are delicious, and my personal favorite is the tamagoyaki.

The overall taste is on the salty side, and most of the dishes are not particularly impressive.

It costs more than a thousand per person to eat, which is not great in terms of dining environment and quality. Finally, when I walked out after eating, I felt that the outdoor temperature was cooler and the air was fresh. Those who want to try it are strongly recommended to choose an outdoor seat!

The mediocre Huazhi Somen noodles are delicious.
Also a flowery mentaiko
10 slices of beef tongue cost $590, expensive but common
Delicious mentaiko potatoes, but you can eat them everywhere
Stir-fried water lotus with pork, I also think it’s popular
Roast pork neck, delicious
It was the first time I had Tang Yang Fried Chicken with bones, and I didn’t like bones. The Tongdong ones all feel too salty, but I think it’s okay.
Well seasoned but overcooked roast beef
Best of the day: Tamagoyaki!
