This was our first time there, and we ordered a 200g sirloin steak (to be shared between two), two platters of assorted meats, and a sampler of rare cuts, and we accidentally ordered too much xD.
I recommend just going for the restaurant's set menu to avoid thinking too much. If you want to step it up a bit, I suggest each person orders a sampler of rare cuts, and if you're still hungry, you can gradually order more. This offers the best value (because the set menu does not include rare cuts, and we felt that the rare cuts were definitely worth trying 🤤). Some of the meats we had never even heard of before; we only found out about them after doing some research. The eating experience is truly different. Even the same cut, like the selected hire in the rare cuts platter, tastes much better than the regular hire in the assorted meats platter in terms of aroma, flavor, and texture. You can clearly sense the difference overall. (I must stress that the regular cuts are also delicious, so even if you only order the set menu, you can still fully enjoy the pleasure of eating wagyu.)
I recommend that if you live nearby, you should consider coming here to try it out!
By the way, when it comes to wagyu barbecue, you really don’t need to choose an all-you-can-eat option. About 100-200g is already enough for a perfect meal experience. Eating more than that can actually make it feel overwhelming, and it also affects your budget 🤣.
