The store's name is simply and brightly called Indian Style, and it is located on Tongde Road between Houshanpi Station and Zhongxiao Campus of United Hospital.
The word-style Arabic material on the pillar at the entrance of the store makes people feel quite nostalgic.
I took out twice, including curry chicken and turmeric stewed rice, curry beef omelette rice, and curry mutton hotpot. The total cost was 180 yuan and 380 yuan.
Curry chicken and turmeric stew with rice:
There are so many bones in the native chicken... There are so many bones.
The curry was okay, but didn't feel like a strong Indian-style seasoning, and the turmeric rice was quite tasty.
There is some stewed pumpkin in the curry sauce, which gives the sauce a hint of pumpkin sweetness.
Curry beef omelette rice:
The egg buns are beautifully wrapped and the turmeric rice inside is still delicious.
The beef slices were not too thin, but they tasted a little aged.
Curry Lamb Pot:
The rich curry-flavored soup goes very well with the mutton, and the meat is quite generous. The cabbage and other vegetables are cooked quite soft, and the portions are not bad. It is a quite delicious dish.
The interior decoration feels like a fusion of Indian and Taiwanese styles, creating a wonderfully conflicting yet inexplicably balanced aesthetic.
Overall, although whether it can be regarded as a true Indian-style curry, it is honestly open to question.
But it is an indisputable fact that the food is delicious. As long as you don’t order chicken, you should be quite satisfied.
Recommended to everyone!
