The meal options are rich, with pork loin French toast paired with lettuce, providing a refreshing taste without being too salty. The iced red tea is smooth, and the crispy fries are crunchy but a bit salty.
The breakfast shop has a lively atmosphere, is pet-friendly, and the walls are covered with cute animal pictures. Seating is limited, so reservations are required in advance.
The service attitude is good; even when busy, they will apologize and offer online ordering with multiple payment options.
It's really a pity that people living nearby don't eat at this place, but it gets very crowded, so sometimes you have to learn to wait. Although the food comes out quickly, the ordering speed is even faster XD.
I’ll only introduce what I ate; I won't go into detail about what my family had, otherwise this would be too long. If you're interested, you can come and try it yourself.
Meals:
French-style pork loin on thick toast spread with mayonnaise and topped with egg liquid, cooked on the griddle until the egg is ready. Then it’s paired with thick slices of pork loin and a generous amount of lettuce. Taking a bite, you can feel the well-seasoned pork and the refreshing crunch of the lettuce.
Iced Red Tea:
In regular breakfast shops, this would be considered a large size, but here it's a medium. You can choose full sugar, 30% sugar, or no sugar. Options for temperature include iced, less ice, warm, or hot. The 30% sweetness is not too sweet, and the black tea flavor is present, making it enjoyable to drink.
Crispy Fries:
They really are crispy fries. The hardness when you pick them up and the crunching noise when you bite into them is truly delightful. But don’t eat too many, as they can get a bit salty later on. When served, the owner will add a little ketchup on the side, and you can add more if you need.
Special Dishes:
Auntie's spicy sauce noodles – I can't comment since I don't eat spicy food. (This is also why I call it Auntie's breakfast shop.)
Teriyaki sizzling noodles, made from egg noodles cooked on the griddle, and they even add an egg 🤤. You can request the egg to be runny, and when you see the yolk flowing down before you eat, it's such a treat…
Service:
Even when busy, their attitude is always good, and they will apologize for any delays, although they may seem a bit brusque when overwhelmed.
Environment:
Pet-friendly, they love to decorate the walls with many cute images of animals and conservation messages.
Review:
In the Xinyi District of Taipei City, when it comes to great breakfast spots, this one is among my top rankings. The environment, service, and food quality are all excellent.
A breakfast shop with a school classroom style
The lady boss is very nice
There are so many people taking out and eating in every day, and all of a sudden there is no space left.
There are not many places, only 9 tables!
They can order food online first, so there is no need to wait on site ~
If you want to use it inside, you can directly scan the QR code to order, which is really convenient.
The food section is very diverse, and there are also some preferential packages
This time I ordered corn quiche + chocolate toast + medium ice milk
The fried egg pancake skin is a bit crispy and has a texture that I like. It is also paired with their spicy sauce. It is really spicy and not the salty and non-spicy chili🌶️. The milk tea drink has a standard creamer flavor. 👍🏻
