Brunch and Italian cuisine specialty shop 🌞🍳
Third visit! I always remember that this restaurant has great-tasting dishes! The portions are substantial, and the highlight is a very kind staff member who continuously offered water, making me really want to come back.
However, today's dining experience was quite disappointing; the satisfaction level wasn't as high as the first two times 🤨
🥘
Ordered items:
🥣 Early brunch combo ($319):
Spicy chicken thigh from Han City + French toast with powdered sugar + fluffy omelet + French fries
The brunch plate can be customized; usually not a fan of salad, I appreciated the option of French fries.
This time, I was a bit disappointed as one piece of the chicken thigh had some pink blood.
Also, there was too little egg mixture on the French toast, making it overall feel quite dry to eat.
🎃 European-style pumpkin cream risotto ($240):
Ordering the risotto includes a bowl of soup, which is also pumpkin soup 🤣
The flavor of the pumpkin soup and the pumpkin risotto was exactly the same, plus there was honestly too much pumpkin in the risotto.
The risotto didn’t have the expected al dente texture; it was more like regular cooked rice.
The pumpkin used was overly mature, and there were also sweet pepper ingredients.
🍬 Brown sugar latte (add-on with meal $80):
I found the coffee extremely bitter—after adding brown sugar, the bitterness still prevailed.
The timing of the coffee delivery was strange; it arrived halfway through the main course.
However, my mom really liked the flavor of this coffee 😆
🍄
Will I return? No!
This time, the dining experience was not good 🥲 and during the meal, I quickly finished my water.
Although there was no service charge, the staff passed by several times without offering to refill 🤨 and there was no area to get water by ourselves in the restaurant.
