So far, I still find it amazing that a shop that looks nothing like typical Taitung style is located in the city center's prime area. Every time I walk by, I have a stereotype that this shop must be very expensive. But when I went in and looked at the menu, I was shocked to find that it was much cheaper than I imagined—one bowl of ramen costs only two NT$100 bills! It's truly a great value for money.

This shop doesn’t have many ramen options; you can choose between signature flavors like salt and miso soy sauce, but there are two different types of noodles from different suppliers—one type is more absorbent of broth, while the other is springy. The broth is somewhat like chicken white soup, but not as rich; it leans toward a lighter, refreshing type. With a few slices of nori, as well as very tender and sweet char siu pork slices and chicken slices, it feels quite hearty!

In addition to the noodles, there are also a few simple yet unbeatable side dishes, among which the golden kimchi and soft-boiled eggs are highly recommended to pair with ramen.

Moreover, this ramen shop is part of a chain throughout Taiwan. The next time you pass by this ramen shop, don’t hesitate to go in!
