Suddenly, I wanted to eat curry, and I found a popular curry restaurant. 🍛
Even on a weekday around 8 PM, there were several groups lined up, and I wrote my name on the list and waited to be called. Surprisingly, the turnover rate was high; there were about three groups ahead of me, but I was called in about 10 to 15 minutes.
The staff welcomed me with a cheerful "Welcome!" and said, "Thank you!" in unison. The cold water prepared at the counter, the Japanese music playing, and other details made it clear they were embracing a Japanese concept, and I felt a sense of familiarity!
I topped my curry with a soft-boiled egg, but it seemed like there were also other toppings like green onions.
Overall, the portion of curry was quite large, and I noticed a few customers left some rice and curry behind.
The pork cutlet curry I ordered was fairly good! The pork was a bit tough, with parts that were hard to chew, but the curry was not spicy and had a familiar taste that seemed like it had been simmered with various ingredients.
Since it originally came with toppings like bell peppers and potatoes, I ended up feeling quite full! Haha.
