Located in the Carrefour Food Court in Anping, Tainan, "Seasons Steakhouse" is a restaurant under the Wang Pin Group and has been operating for many years as a chain steakhouse. I visited it once ten years ago, and my dining experience back then left me somewhat disappointed, so I decided to revisit and give it another try. This time I ordered the duck breast and Wellington steak. Overall, I felt there has been some improvement, but it still doesn't stand out significantly.
The duck breast was indeed quite good, with a crispy skin and tender, juicy meat that was full of flavor. It can be considered one of the highlights of the meal. As for the Wellington steak, while the quality of the meat was average, the pastry part scored too low—the outer layer that should have been crispy was instead soggy, which detracted significantly from the Wellington steak! The soggy texture made what should have been a complex and enjoyable eating experience rather uninteresting, leading to a noticeable gap from my expectations.
The service at this restaurant remains at a high standard, which impressed me. As for pricing, Seasons Steakhouse’s overall price point is not low, especially considering that the current menu appears more refined compared to the past, but the actual quality of the dishes has not shown a significant improvement. Compared to other mid to high-end restaurants, it may be more suitable for couples or family gatherings.
