A bento shop located near Hangzhou South Road/Jinan Road, suitable for workers in the area.
This time I ordered beef stew rice and Cantonese fried noodles.
For the Cantonese fried noodles, the noodles are very crispy, so I recommend soaking them in the sauce before eating. The seafood ingredients are quite generous, and the noodles taste smooth after soaking in the sauce.
As for the beef stew rice, the meat is very tender, and I think the portion is quite reasonable for the price (120 NTD).
Both portions of vegetables 🥬 are also very generous, although I feel the sauce is a bit on the sweeter side. If you're not used to overly sweet food, it might be better to bring a drink.
This shop is very popular, and I even had to arrive early to get a seat without waiting. Once the lunch break hits, a lot of office workers come to buy, and the dining area becomes very crowded (I don’t understand why everyone has to queue inside when there’s space to line up across the door. Eating while being watched adds a bit of pressure, so I ended up quickly finishing my meal and leaving). Therefore, I suggest calling in advance to place an order for takeout.
