Located near Taipei Main Station and Huayin Street, Lu Pork Rice is hidden in an alley. Scan the QR code on the table to order. In addition to Chinese and English, there are also Japanese and Korean characters on it. I guess there should be a lot of foreigners coming to eat. (There happened to be a Japanese customer sitting at the next table)
There is a queue to eat at 6:30 on a Monday night, but because of the type of food, the food comes out quickly and the food is eaten quickly, so it doesn’t really take a long time to get it.
Large bowl of pork rice $40 + half-boiled poached eggs $20
Lu Pork Rice is mainly made of fatty meat, but it is not too sticky. I happen to like fatty meat, so I think it is delicious.
The soft-boiled eggs above are about medium-cooked, the whites are cooked, but the yolks will run out. It’s great to eat with pork rice.
There is chili sauce on the table. It is highly recommended that those who dare to eat spicy food can add a little to the pork rice to make it even more delicious.
The small drawback is that when I ordered a big bowl of Lu Pork Rice, the white rice on the bottom was not covered with marinade, so some of the rice was in vain.
Pickled gherkins $35
It is recommended to add some pickled cucumbers and eat it with the braised pork rice. It can just relieve the tiredness of eating fatty meat and braised rice all the time.
Overall, I think it is a meal with a high CP value, because there are quite a lot of side dishes, and it is paired with a large bowl of pork rice and poached eggs. Girls with a normal appetite will feel a little too full after finishing it, so it is a good dinner. It doesn’t cost $100, and it’s pretty delicious. I recommend it~
