There are often queues at this restaurant. You have to order first and get a number plate, and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your meal or to be seated. The store is clean and bright, and the tables are separated by baffles. You have to take your own tableware and sauces.
About the meal
Big bowl of braised pork rice, NT$50. The first bite tastes good, but I don’t feel it after the second bite. The marinated sauce doesn’t taste too salty when paired with rice, but it would be better with more marinated sauce.
Pork rice, NT$60. The meat is soft and tasty, and the bamboo shoots are crisp and refreshing.
Bamboo shoots and pork ribs soup, NT$55. The soup is fresh, sweet and delicious. There are 2 pieces of pork ribs, and the bamboo shoots are as crisp and refreshing.
Braised cabbage, NT$55. The braised cabbage is soft and tasty but a bit salty. It goes well with rice without marinade.
