Previously, I looked for many brunch places and found that a lot of people recommended Tamed Fox in the Xinyi District, so I made a reservation right away! It's located on the first basement level, and you need to walk around a bit. The restaurant is really large with many options, including window seats for one person, two-person tables, large tables, or even quieter areas further inside. There are also quite a few outdoor seats available.
I saw many people dining alone, and indeed, this environment is very friendly. I took a look at the menu and found that, for brunch, it is not very cheap, with prices ranging from 300 to 580 NTD.
What did I eat today? 📝
𓌉𓇋 Hello, Avocado Open Sandwich
Scrambled eggs / Beetroot Chickpea Hummus / Halloumi Cheese
Roasted Spiced Sweet Potato Cubes / Baby Lettuce / Parmesan Cheese / Sourdough Bread
After adding the service fee, it was 396 NTD. The portion was quite large, and it was hard to take a bite without it falling apart. I felt satisfied after eating. However, I felt that this dish leaned more towards the taste of the food itself; combining all the elements created a healthy feeling (?). The lettuce was slightly bitter paired with a faint cheese aroma, which was subtle and mysterious, but it felt a bit too plain for me, so I wouldn't want to order it again next time.
