This is the first time I've come across a shop with such a combination, offering meatballs, winter noodle soup, duck soup, and rice cakes, among other items, all priced from 50 yuan and up. This makes it easy to calculate the cost of meals; just one order is 50 yuan. Compared to the past, these snacks are indeed gradually moving away from being priced at just a few coins.
The owner's hands swiftly move between the steaming baskets and soup pots, with precise and quick actions. The signature meatballs have an amber sheen, and the texture of the skin is chewy rather than the crispy skin typical from central Taiwan, so personally, I don't particularly like it. A gentle poke with chopsticks releases the aroma of mushrooms and bamboo shoots. The dipping sauce is mainly a mix of white and red sauces. The winter noodles, varying in thickness, retain their elasticity even after soaking up the broth, paired with slices of duck and tender ginger strips, making each bite full of nutrition.
If you're in the mood for snacks, this place would be a good choice. However, if you're looking for a full meal, you might be a little disappointed, as the selection of dishes is somewhat limited.
