🚩 Come eat New York-style pizza with Americans
Little New York Pizza is located in the bustling Eastern District of Taipei City, with a rather understated entrance that is easy to miss during lunchtime. Once inside, the space is surprisingly large, decorated in a somewhat American style with white walls and wooden tables. Some of the walls retain original brick textures, giving a casual and free feeling. The atmosphere is comfortable, but the tables are quite small, each topped with a metal rack (to elevate the pizzas). The ambiance improves at night when the white walls can be used for projections, making it a great place to drink beer and watch sports games.
Upon entering, choose your favorite spot. Today, we are a group of six and chose a seat up a few steps with glass brick windows. After sitting down, we scan the QR code on the table to order, with a minimum spend of $280 per person. Payment can be made in cash or by card after dining, and invoices are available.
The pizzas come in 12-inch and 20-inch sizes; the 12-inch can be divided into two flavors, and the 20-inch can be divided into four. Today we ordered one 12-inch pizza and one 20-inch with four flavors. The pizza is thin but has a great bite to it, and I personally recommend the traditional American flavors. Essentially, it consists of cheese, pepperoni, bacon, and tomato sauce 🤣, paired with hot fries and sugary carbonated drinks. There's no need for anything special like exotic meats or seafood; just chatting while eating makes it a fantastic pizza place.
