Taipei Neihu - They only sell two flavors, sweet and savory! It can be said to be the strongest pastry in Neihu. Each one costs 15 NT dollars, and the savory ones are usually very popular, so you have to take a number and wait! Previously, when I had the sweet one, there were plenty available! This time I wanted to try the savory one, so I spent 20 minutes waiting for the savory pastry to come out!
📍 Savory Pastry NT$15/each

The exterior is sprinkled with white sesame seeds, and it's very crispy when you bite into it. Eating it hot out of the oven, be careful because the filling is very hot! The filling consists of chopped green onions with a hint of pepper flavor, and it's very fragrant! The seasoning is just about right, but I think the filling is a bit salty! Be careful when eating, as the white sesame seeds can fall everywhere because they sprinkle a lot on it, haha.
I really regret not buying a few more at once! No wonder the locals buy ten or more at a time!
▶️ Environment
🔹 A simple little stall, no indoor seating
🔹 You can see how the pastries are made on-site
▶️ Helpful Reminders
🔹 You can directly ask how long you need to wait for the pastries. If you have to wait, you can report the quantity and take a number first!
🔹 Cash only!
🔹 How to distinguish the flavors? The one sprinkled with white sesame seeds is the savory pastry, while the one with black sesame is the red bean pastry XDD
▶️ Overall Evaluation
🔹 I had the sweet one before, which is the red bean pastry. I found it quite sweet, perfect for an afternoon snack with some tea! The savory one is more suitable for breakfast! If it weren't for the long waiting time every time, I would want to buy one to satisfy my cravings whenever I pass by. I recommend it to everyone!
