AI Spot Summary

The chicken legs at this shop are their signature dish, with a crispy outer skin and juicy inside, and the grilled sauce has a perfect balance of sweet and salty. Other dishes like the seven-fragrance chicken, chicken feet, scallion-pork rolls, and bacon rolls each have their own unique characteristics, while the tofu and sweet and spicy sauce are quite standard.

The restaurant has a strong Taiwanese late-night dining atmosphere, and the made-to-order grilling allows customers to feel the owner's dedication.

The service is friendly, but due to the made-to-order cooking, the waiting time is longer. It's recommended to take out or make a reservation.

Hidden in the alleys of Neihu, "Thank You, Taiwanese Charcoal Grill" is a late-night snack spot that emphasizes "authentic Taiwanese flavor, freshly grilled to order." In recent years, this place has built a loyal customer base in Neihu, and both dine-in and delivery services are quite popular. From my recent dine-in experience, although the waiting time was a bit long, I understood afterward that the wait was absolutely worth it—because each skewer of charcoal-grilled food is the result of the owner's meticulous preparation and grilling!

Chicken Leg
Among all the items, the chicken leg is undoubtedly the overall MVP. The cooking is perfectly mastered, with a crispy, fragrant skin and juicy, tender meat inside. The house-made charcoal grill sauce shines here, perfectly balancing salty and sweet, rich in aroma without being overly greasy. Each bite makes you want to take another; it is definitely a signature dish that will bring people back. If you come to "Thank You Charcoal Grill" and don’t order the chicken leg, it’s like you haven’t been there at all!

Seven-Flavor Pork
Rich in fat and with a strong charcoal aroma, those who enjoy offal will find it quite good, although it’s not particularly stunning.

Chicken Feet
Well-seasoned and not dry, the seasoning is more refined than expected, making them a suitable choice for a snack or a beer accompaniment.

Scallion Pork Roll
The meat slices are tightly wrapped with scallions, creating a distinct layered texture. The scallion aroma adds significant flavor to this small dish, making it enjoyable.

Bacon Roll
The enoki mushrooms retain moisture and do not become dry during grilling, perfectly complemented by the savory and crispy bacon, creating an excellent harmony of flavors.

Tofu
Relatively standard, with not much surprise. The sauce is flavorful, but the texture is slightly dry; it’s something you won’t regret ordering, though I wouldn’t particularly recommend it either.

Sweet Potato Fries
Not bad; they maintain a moist texture inside, with a slightly crispy exterior and a soft inside, enhanced by the savory sauce—a reliable side dish.

The grilling is done to order, so one must mentally prepare for a longer wait time. If you’re really hungry or under time pressure, I recommend taking out or pre-ordering. However, if you have plenty of time, sitting inside the restaurant, enjoying the smell of charcoal grilling and watching the owner carefully grill the food does create quite a "Taiwanese late-night diner" atmosphere!
