The black gold pig trotter rice is often mentioned when talking about North station's food scene. During lunchtime, there is frequently a long line. If you choose to dine in, you'll need to find a seat yourself. There is also a store nearby that offers a bamboo shoot and bone soup that you can drink. Just looking at that broth made from a bunch of bones, no matter how hot the weather is, you have to enjoy a bowl.

  • Pig Trotter Rice / 130 TWD:
    The pig trotter is braised to a very tender state, melting in your mouth. The pork selection is good with no strong pork odor. Although the sauce looks very dark, it's not overly salty or fragrant, allowing you to eat the entire pig trotter without any issues. The side dishes include cucumber, cabbage, and spicy radish, all of which have great textures. They work well with the melt-in-your-mouth pig trotter, making it less greasy. The braised egg is cooked to the point where it’s almost like an iron egg; it's a bit harder to bite into, but the more you chew, the more fragrant it becomes. Additionally, for those who like spicy food, I recommend adding a bit of the chili oil from the ordering counter. It's different from the spicy doubanjiang provided on the table; this is house-made chili oil that is spicier and more aromatic.

黑金豬腳飯的最後一舞,營業超過70年的鄭記即將於4月2日結束營業。 鄭記豬腳飯位於延平南路上,鄰近西門町與北門,距離捷運北門站步行大約五分鐘。 這家從民國42年創立、至今已營業超過七十年的老店,即將在2025年4月2日正式結束營業。 這是一篇寫給回憶,也是寫給來不及的告別食記。 今天享用了豬腳肉飯,價格130元。 豬腳肉飯: 豬腳滷得入味透徹,焦糖色澤深沉而富有光澤。 豬皮彈韌而不油膩,膠質感十足;肉的部分雖不到入口即化,但也肉汁滿溢。 夾帶筋膜的部位口感非常Q彈,與瘦肉交錯品嚐,讓人欲罷不能。 配菜有酸菜與青菜,清脆的口感平衡了主菜的濃厚滷香,滷蛋色澤均勻,蛋黃雖偏乾,但越嚼越有滋味,有點類似鐵蛋。 櫃檯旁的筍絲大骨湯是自助取用的。 湯頭看似清淡,實則甘甜回韻,筍絲爽脆解膩,是完美的句點。 整體而言,是一間以滷功見長的台式便當店。 店內空間樸實無華,鋁門窗搭配不鏽鋼桌椅,是老台北最常見的傳統便當店樣貌。 但就是這樣的無裝潢老店,承載了超過七十年的回憶。 雖然有人批評2015年以前的醬油滷豬腳才是鄭記真正的招牌,但看到鄭記即將收攤時門口那長長的人龍與不停地感謝與致歉的店家,其實口味之爭早已不再重要。 我排了一下午,中午時段在我前方十公尺售完,直到1630再開時我才吃到下午最新出爐的第一鍋。 為了公平,直到結束營業前每人限購一份豬腳或東坡肉便當,而虱目魚肚不在此限。 如果要前來品嚐老店的最後一舞,早上建議九點就來排隊,下午則像開盲盒不敢保證... 如果你曾經吃過它的豬腳飯,那是回憶;如果你還沒吃過,現在就是最後的機會。 強力推薦給大家!要吃要快,不然真的會來不及!

台北少見的好吃豬腳飯,非 常 軟 爛! 這間店位於北門附近,吃過許多次,東坡肉(會綁繩)與豬腳肉(不帶骨)都是滷得軟爛至極,呈黑金色澤,水準相當好。 原本想點雙拼,意即一次享用雙主菜,可惜當天東坡肉已售罄,無福消受。聽說還有一強項「滷大腸頭」,下次再前往嘗試。 可惜的是,強項也僅有主菜。配菜偏差,高麗菜和小黃瓜都半生熟偏硬,還有傳統便當常見的酸菜。 滷蛋的醬味入裡,不過口感已近似鐵蛋。 白飯乾鬆,口感粗糙,即使淋上滷汁也無法加分。 有大骨湯可用,看起來正是從豬腳肉取下的大骨所熬煮,物盡其用,不過因為天氣燥熱,並未取用。 無論如何,在北門這麼市中心的地方,從 1953 年開張至今已逾 70 年的老店,歷經中華商場、見證北門重現,還能堅持營業至今,也是老台北人的幸福。
