Beiping Weifulou Zhongxiao Store is located next to the exit of Houshanpi MRT Station, only a minute's walk away.
The store's main focus is of course the signature Beijing dishes, but there are also some Sichuan or Taiwanese dishes.
What I enjoyed today was asparagus and shrimp, Jiuzhuan Fat Sausage, Bamboo Pork Sliced Soup, plus two bowls of white rice and service charge, the total cost was about 1,200 yuan.
Asparagus and Shrimp:
The crisp asparagus and springy prawns are all seasoned very sweet, and the fiber of the asparagus has been carefully selected.
Nine-turn Fat Sausage:
This is a very powerful Kung Fu dish.
The thick fatty sausage may seem difficult to bite at first glance, but in fact it feels like aspic on the verge of melting in the mouth. It is very easy to chew, and every bite is full of rich meaty aroma. What is even more amazing is that it can still be chewed during the process. Feel the elasticity of the fat intestines.
And the store owner sprinkled a lot of coriander to fine-tune the taste, which is also very satisfying.
Bamboo Piper Pork Soup:
Bamboo pipes are also a rare commodity. In addition to sliced meat and peas, there are also a lot of bamboo pipes in the soup.
The taste of bamboo fungus is actually hard to describe, but you will be fascinated after eating it once. The whole bowl of soup tastes quite refreshing and satisfying.
Overall, it is a pretty good Beijing restaurant.
Although the three-course meal is not cheap, it is indeed more satisfying than imagined.
The store sells relatively affordable take-out Hong Kong-style barbecue bento boxes, which taste quite good.
The store has three floors. The dining environment is clean and the experience is quite good.
Originally, our store was a Xinyi store in the Anhe area of Xinyi. After it was permanently closed due to human factors, this was the only one left in the Fulou series.
I hope the good taste can continue to spread.
