Beitou, in a local shop, you can tell from the lively staff, especially the grandmas, that this store has a long history. The atmosphere is casual, but there are always long lines for dining in, and the business is very good. Takeout is quite fast.
The mixed rice noodle soup has a perfect thickness and flavor, and there’s plenty of ingredients. The pork ribs have a tasty old-fashioned flavor, but I found too many bones. The meatballs and meat soup are well-balanced in texture, flavorful, and very delicious. The small intestine is springy and tasty; I took it out and mixed it with soy braised tofu, kelp, and eggs as a side dish. Paired with the sauce, I really wanted to drink a few cups of it, haha!
