Recently, I watched a Korean drama with my family and suddenly craved Korean fried chicken. I decided to take out from this place, which we could only find many years ago at the Taipei National Memorial Hall, but now there are more branches. I have always remembered their original flavor as being very good, so I ordered these two items this time.
▪️Premium garlic $339 (boneless half chicken)
▪️Classic original $319 (boneless half chicken)
I think both flavors were pretty good; the original still has the taste I remember. When ordering, the staff mentioned that the garlic flavor comes in premium and regular versions, and the premium includes additional mayonnaise on top, which was quite tasty.
However, on that day, I noticeably felt that the original flavor was much lighter. Upon opening, I found it consisted mostly of chicken skin... for over three hundred bucks, the experience wasn't too great (and since it was takeout, I don't have photos to share here).
Overall, I think while the portion is just right for two people, it still feels a bit overpriced, so I might not buy it again unless I get swept away by another Korean drama 😂.
