There is a delicious spice curry restaurant in Lucua that I visited 🍛
The name of the restaurant is "Kitasetsu Spice Laboratory, Lucua Osaka," and it is located on B2F of Lucua Osaka 🏙️
It was easy to recognize from the exterior, and the interior was more spacious than I had expected ✨
This restaurant originated in Minoh, and they also served Minoh Beer 🍺
For my drink, I chose
homemade lassi ✨
As for the spice curry,
I ordered a limited menu item from the Lucua Osaka store,
curry broth soup curry 🍛
with toppings:
spice boiled egg 🥚
and soy sauce marinated salmon roe✨ 🍛
The curry that arrived had shrimp that was expertly grilled, with a strong aroma of shrimp 🦐
It was packed with ingredients including:
grilled red shrimp with shaojiu 🦐 (you can switch to "drooling chicken" if you're not a fan)
homemade pickles 🥒
purple cabbage coleslaw 🟣
simmered baby sardines with sambol spice (it's a spice sprinkle!)
homemade harissa squid chanja 🦑
saba and okra stir-fried with spice 🐟
spiced ground meat 🐮
spice stir-fried firefly squid with garlic chives 🦑 (it has a crispy texture and a bit of spice with a refreshing aroma)
asari clams in Nepalese pepper candy✨ (using Nepalese pepper called "Timbur")
lime 🍋🟩
spice boiled egg 🥚
and soy sauce marinated salmon roe✨
with a rich variety of delicious options 🍛
There was also an explanation on how to enjoy the curry broth soup curry, which I followed 🍛
Each of the side dishes had a strong and distinctive flavor, and they were incredibly delicious ✨
The spices were effective, but the heat level wasn't too strong, which is a personal favorite point of mine.
The main red shrimp was perfectly grilled, with a plump and delicious taste 🦐
The seasonal firefly squid and asari clams were also delightful 🦑
I mixed the rice and side dishes little by little, and I found that the slightly firmer rice was just right for soaking up the curry broth 🍚
The salmon roe was poppingly delicious, and the combination of each side dish with the turmeric rice was absolutely fantastic 🔥
I poured the hot broth at the end 🍛
The joy of being able to get a second serving of broth was wonderful 🍛
The broth also had minced meat and other ingredients added 🐷
It was a curry with a nice spice flavor that tasted great on its own 🍛
Mixing the side dishes with the turmeric rice created a complex combination of flavors, resulting in different deliciousness with every bite ✨
Even though it’s spice curry, the heat can be adjusted, and the standard level of spiciness was just fine even for someone like me who struggles with spicy food; I had no problems enjoying it 🥰
I was so happy to finally have an incredibly delicious spice curry after a long time 🍛
I also thought that the easy-to-reach location of Lucua was excellent ✨
