It seems that the vendor who only sets up shop on Sundays is located in front of a store on the outskirts of the Beitou Market. They do not have a sign with the store name and only sell two items: lotus root meatballs and Hong Kong-style fresh shrimp rice noodles.
Both items are 100 TWD per box, with 5 pieces in each box. The outer skin made from lotus root powder is quite chewy and delicious, and it also has eleven great benefits; it's good for the body and not burdensome. It looks like a very good meal. The meatballs are overall very tasty, while the filling for the rice noodles seems to be shrimp paste, which is fairly decent. The vendor is very friendly and allows customers to try before buying. Since there were less than a box of meatballs left, the vendor generously provided a box of mixed items, allowing me to try both types at once. I would definitely want to have the lotus root meatballs again.
