This time, a local friend brought us to this place, which is said to be a very famous Japanese skewer restaurant in Hualien.
That night, my friends and I spontaneously decided to have skewers for dinner. 🤣
As expected, it did not disappoint! We had to wait for about an hour for our turn!
Fortunately, there was a seating area outside for guests waiting, which made it a bit more comfortable.

After the long wait, I thought to myself, how good can it be to warrant a one-hour wait?

If you’re not very flexible, it might be a bit challenging to sit comfortably! After all, sitting cross-legged while eating isn’t that easy, right? 🥺

The environment is quite pleasant and spacious.
The distance between tables in the booth area is large, so there’s no feeling of being cramped.

The food is absolutely fantastic!

The restaurant's specialty is a variety of combinations featuring spicy peeled chili peppers!

The skewers with peeled chili peppers have a wonderful texture.

So we ordered more pork skewers with peeled chili peppers and even another round of soup!

As soon as you enter, you will be filled with a strong Japanese flavor. Music, low light, and the photos taken are a bit dark.
After entering, the staff quickly greeted us to sit down and order food, and they also greeted us warmly when ordering.
The skewers at Lao Shi are all delicious, and one of them, Chef Ming’s beef skewers, is very good and rich in layers. I feel that the beef skewers are the most delicious that I tasted that day.
