Today we're visiting a café and dessert shop located near Jinshan South Road in the Zhongzheng District.

Actually, the location is not very convenient for transportation.
Fortunately, some friends found this place and wanted to give it a try.

Overall, I think the cakes and desserts here are quite good.
However, it’s important to be aware of the store hours because some cakes might be sold out by the evening.
So, it’s wise to keep an eye on the cake inventory.

As for the main dishes, the rice I ordered that day was rather ordinary.
There wasn't anything particularly special in terms of flavor or taste, and the prices aren’t exactly cheap.

So the main reason to come here is to enjoy the desserts, cakes, and afternoon coffee.
The exterior of the shop is quite beautifully designed, but the interior space isn't very large.

If you plan to visit, it’s best to make a reservation in advance.
And of course, I would give an extra 10 points to any shop that allows online reservations! 🤣🤣

The beverages at the shop are above average too.
They are quite smooth and flavorful.

The interior decor and dishware are also charming, which is no wonder why most of their customers are female enjoying their time here.

The atmosphere is perfect for a few friends to come in, have some afternoon tea, eat cake, and chat about gossip or recent happenings.
On a hot summer afternoon, I highly recommend lounging here~~

👉 Red Wine Braised Beef with Fresh Vegetables $310
That day, since Dickson didn’t have lunch, I decided to try a main dish here, and since the noodles were sold out, I opted for a rice dish instead.

For the red wine braised beef with fresh vegetables, I personally feel that the flavor was somewhat lacking.
There were indeed two or three pieces of beef, but the overall "red wine" flavor was pretty weak.
It felt quite bland overall, resembling a simple risotto.

The fresh vegetables were indeed plentiful, but unfortunately, the portion was quite small.
It was just a little bowl, which I think is fitting for women, but might be a bit small for men. 🤣🤣🤣

You can purchase the cakes here by the slice, and of course, if you want to buy more, you can choose directly at the counter.
The counter also displays some special cakes of the day.

That day, I ordered according to the menu, and my friends ordered other cakes too.
Overall, I find that the flavors of the cakes here are quite good.

The quality of the cake is smooth and creamy, and you can taste the Earl Grey milk tea flavor inside.
Moreover, the overall flavor and sweetness are just right, not overly sweet.

So overall, I think it’s quite fitting to sit here, eat a few slices of cake, and chat with friends.
If you don’t order a main dish, I think it’s actually not necessary to get the rice here, and perhaps the noodles might be better.

Because the naming of other dishes on the menu is also quite special and creative, it makes me want to try more.

👉 Earl Grey Tea Latte $170

I personally think the drink flavor is pretty good.
As for the Earl Grey tea latte, it’s quite basic without any special twists, but I think the milk flavor is sufficient and it tastes refreshing.

⭐️ Atmosphere section
The shop's decoration is quite cute and leans towards a white theme.
I believe most women would enjoy coming here for afternoon tea.
However, it’s a pity that the space inside isn’t very big; it feels like it can only accommodate one person to pass at a time.
There aren’t many tables inside.

There are probably only four or five tables, accommodating about 20 guests in total.

It's a small café and dessert shop, and due to the limited space, the tables and chairs are quite close together.
Therefore, if you speak loudly, it might disturb the neighboring customers.

Overall, the atmosphere feels quite quiet and is perfect for a hot afternoon,
where you can come with a couple of friends, order some afternoon tea, and enjoy desserts, which is very pleasant!

I actually don’t recall any special service that day; it was about refilling water, taking orders, and delivering food.

⭐️ Price section
Considering the main dishes, given the portion and flavor, I feel the price is a bit high.
As for the cakes, I think the price per slice and its flavorful quality are acceptable for a dessert shop in Taipei.

The drink prices are also standard.

⭐️ Location section
Indeed, this shop is a bit far from public transportation.
Whether you walk from the MRT station or the bus stop, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
So there is a bit of distance.

If friends really want to visit, you might want to consider coming by motorbike or other means of transport since there are quite a few motorbike parking spots nearby. 🤣🤣🤣

⭐️ In summary,
I think this is quite a unique little café and dessert shop.
Although the location is a bit distant, I believe it’s worth spending an afternoon with one or two friends here.

I feel you can order several different pieces of cake to share with friends and enjoy various delicious cakes.
