The tonkotsu salt ramen has a salty and rich flavor, with a strong shrimp taste that leaves a lasting impression. The shrimp-flavored dumplings contain small shrimp, providing a great texture. The char siu rice is topped with shrimp crisp, adding a unique flavor.
Dining in the department store requires queuing, and the environment is close to Japanese style.
The waiter is friendly and can provide clear broth based on customer needs, making them more comfortable.
First time here to eat~ You have to wait in line inside the department store!
📍 Pork Bone Salt Ramen
I ordered it without green onions and with regular noodles. The pork bone ramen is saltier and has more of a Japanese flavor, which I really like. Plus, the strong shrimp flavor is really delicious!
📍 Shrimp Dumplings
There’s a small shrimp inside, pretty tasty!
📍 Chashu Rice
Completely different from typical ramen shop chashu rice. The crispy shrimp on top adds great texture, it’s really good~ I’ll want to order it again next time!
In the Xinyi planning district, the most famous spot is probably Ichiran Ramen, but there is also a pretty good ramen shop not far away for everyone to consider.
First, let's talk about the most important thing: the broth in this shop is made from shrimp, so if you are allergic to shrimp or dislike shrimp flavor, it is not recommended to go here.
This time I ordered the pork bone miso flavor. There was only one slice of chashu, but it was cooked very tenderly, to the point that I couldn't lift it separately for a photo. However, it really melts in your mouth!
For the noodles, I chose the thin noodles, which had a standard texture without any surprises.
The broth is truly rich! It is filled with shrimp flavor combined with a strong pork bone taste, so I advise you to be mentally prepared before you come. You can also ask the server for a bowl of plain broth just in case!
Personally, I really love that they offer options to add green onions and crunchy noodles, especially since both are free. The crunchy noodles, when paired with the rich broth, provide a different flavor experience.
One more thing is that their dining queue area is actually inside the department store, so don’t go to the wrong place and wait foolishly!
