Aunt Su's pizza shop's Hawaiian pizza is thick and fluffy, different from chain stores. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, and the corn chowder has an authentic traditional taste.
Located next to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the atmosphere is nostalgic. It takes about an hour of waiting on weekends, but it's quicker on weekdays.
No reservations are accepted; you must wait in line. There are plastic chairs outside to sit on. A service charge of 10% applies, and only cash is accepted.
Location: Xinyi District, Taipei City
Taipei's Famous Queue Restaurant
A pizza place that cannot be reserved, only queued for
I've been here many times, but this is my first time coming on a holiday.
We started waiting around 5 PM.
I got number 26, and we actually entered after about an hour.
Since there are plastic chairs outside to sit on,
It doesn't feel too tiring. 🤣🤣🤣
🌟 Hawaiian Pizza (Thick Crust)
Every time I come, I have to get the thick crust pizza.
It's completely different from the pizzas at chain restaurants,
But it doesn't feel like the currently popular wood-fired pizzas either.
You can taste the flour aroma by the end.
Hawaiian has always been my favorite flavor,
And it pairs very well! 😋
🌟 Fried Chicken
Everyone says Aunt Su's pizza shop is known for its fried chicken.
The fried chicken turns out very crispy.
The skin is firmly attached to the meat,
And the coating isn't too thick.
The meat is very juicy and delicious.
With every bite, it bursts with chicken flavor.
🌟 Corn Chowder
This is a relatively ordinary soup.
It belongs to a very traditional style of soup.
There is quite a bit of corn,
But the chowder has more of a starchy feel to it.
Overall, it's still quite tasty.
In summary, it won't disappoint you.
However, waiting an hour on weekends is a bit long.
You won’t have to wait as long on weekdays.
I recommend going then!
⚲ Aunty Su's Pizza House 🍕
Located at the MRT Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station, next to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Zhongshan Park, this is an old-school pizza shop.
"Delicious pizza can't be rushed!" is a slogan from the dining table.
During mealtime, especially on holidays, you really have to line up patiently!
Although the exterior is simple and unpretentious, the dishes are aromatic and delicious.
I’ve been craving this place for a while (I haven’t eaten here in too long 🤤).

Appetizers:
Today's selected soup of the day
A bowl filled with plenty of mushrooms
and tender shredded chicken in a mushroom clear soup.
Garlic bread
Classic-style garlic bread
that pairs nicely with a thick soup.
3 pieces of Dongbeila fried chicken (+ fries)
Taiwanese-style fried chicken
with a thin crispy skin and tender meat.
It’s served hot 🔥, so be careful not to burn your mouth,
but it’s filled with chicken juice and has a tender texture.
So delicious 🤤.
For pizza, I chose the seafood essence flavor on both visits.
Small size - Thin crust.
Packed with filling, you can taste crab meat and shrimp in every bite.
The thin crust is slightly crispy, but I personally still prefer the one with a bit of doughy fragrance (the first time I ordered the thick crust).
Next time, I want to try the thick crust pizza!
It’s currently my favorite flavor (I’ll try different flavors next time XD).
After finishing the meal, two people were really full!
You can’t really choose too many varieties,
so I suggest gathering more people to share the food!
That way you can enjoy a more varied meal!
