This restaurant offers a variety of porridge dishes, ranging from the classic century egg and lean pork congee to the innovative kimchi and cheese Matsusaka pork congee. The porridge has a distinct texture with clearly defined grains, and the meat and vegetables are fresh. The selection of side dishes is diverse, adding great value to the overall dining experience.
The store environment is spacious and comfortable, suitable for gathering and chatting with friends.
Although the price is higher, the quality of the ingredients and service is worth this price point.
In Taitung City, there aren't many options for congee, and even fewer chains. I used to only know about Kowloon Cantonese Congee. So whenever I had diarrhea or felt unwell and wanted to eat congee, I wouldn't know where to go. Ever since this shop opened, there are many more varieties to choose from.
The menu offers a wide range of congee items, from the classic preserved egg and lean meat congee to innovative flavors like kimchi cheese Matsusaka pork congee, catering to everyone's taste. The congee isn't overly watery either; you can still feel the grains of rice, and the meat and vegetables included are fresh and not mushy, which is completely different from the chain congee shops I've been to before. There are also many side dishes available to order, such as mouth-watering chicken, blanched greens, braised duck blood, and braised intestines, making the whole congee-eating experience much richer.
The environment in the shop is also very spacious and comfortable, making it a great place to have a meal and chat with friends. Although the price of the congee is relatively high, I believe the quality of the ingredients and service makes it worth it.
