📍Tofu Pudding (Choose 3 toppings) NT$55
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌘
The tofu pudding is on the softer side, lacking a bit of bean aroma and texture. The syrup is generally on the sweeter side, and they sprinkle a bit of crushed ice on it, which melts quickly in hot weather.
For toppings, I chose:
🔹 Taro: Very large piece, but unfortunately, there was only one XD. This taro was very satisfying, as it wasn’t overly sweet and you could really enjoy the full aroma of the taro!
🔹 Chickpeas (Snow Lotus Seed): Not many dessert places offer this topping! The chickpeas aren’t too hard or too soft, with a slight crunch. I think it’s fantastic to have this topping!
🔹 Grass Jelly: This was just average; the grass jelly has no bitterness, nor is it too sweet; overall, it’s acceptable.
▶️ Environment
🔹 The dining space is small, with a total of 3 two-person tables; it feels a bit messy.
🔹 The style resembles that of a small shop in a residential alley.
🔹 They also sell pineapple cakes and cold noodles.
🔹 Spoons are provided with the meal.
▶️ Friendly Reminder
🔹 The door is a plastic curtain, so push in the right place! (There are signs posted above)
🔹 Cash only.
▶️ Overall Review
🔹 Overall, the price is quite friendly; a bowl of tofu pudding costs 55 NT dollars, and you can choose three toppings, making it a good value! Unfortunately, the tofu pudding lacks character and the bean aroma is insufficient; however, the taro and chickpeas as toppings are very satisfying! I would want to come back to try other toppings!
