The ramen here has a diverse selection, including truffle and porcini mushroom ramen. The broth is special and very fragrant, and the honey soft-boiled eggs are also quite popular. The noodles have a softer texture, which may not suit everyone's taste, but the overall dining experience is pleasant.
The restaurant environment is comfortable, located next to the Taipei Arena. During lunch hours, there are many office workers, and you need to take a number to be seated, creating a lively atmosphere.
The staff provides QR code ordering, which is quite efficient. They even offer complimentary ice cream after the meal, making it feel thoughtful.
The Chicken Soup Uncle Group's brand has a very comfortable dining environment. This time I ordered the truffle and porcini ramen and added a honey-flavored soft-boiled egg. The broth is quite similar to the Chicken Soup Uncle's hot pot broth; I'm not sure if they are the same. The aroma of truffle pairs well with the flavor of the porcini, complementing each other without overpowering, making it quite special as a ramen broth. Personally, I liked it a lot. However, I was a bit disappointed with the noodles; they broke easily with a bite and didn't have much chewiness. But that's a matter of personal preference, as some people might prefer that texture. Overall, I still enjoyed the ramen quite a bit.
The honey soft-boiled egg I ordered was very special; it really tasted like honey! As a honey lover, I really liked it, and I suggest trying it if you're interested. After the meal, they also offer a scoop of ice cream, which was quite tasty.
I ordered Tokyo chicken white soup. Compared to other chicken white soup ramen, it has a lot of ingredients. In addition to chicken barbecued pork, there are also chicken legs, chicken gizzards, and chicken balls. After the meal, there is also ice cream. The ingredients are pretty good, and the ice cream is also pretty good, but I prefer thick chicken soup. The soup base of this restaurant is not very strong, so I only gave it three stars. But other than this, I am overall satisfied.
I heard it is a branch restaurant of Chicken Soup Uncle - Chicken Soup Ramen (it has several branches in Taipei)
This restaurant is next to the Arena. Come for lunch around 13:00. There are still a lot of office workers. You need to get a number plate to take a seat.
There are mainly five types of ramen. For the first time, I chose the most basic one: Tokyo Chicken White Soup Ramen.
QR code ordering can be customized. I chose hard noodles and normal soup.
The soft-boiled eggs cost an extra 29 yuan, so give it up. Decided to try the signature-looking comprehensive skewers for NT$49 (one skewer each of chicken gizzards/chicken balls)
Generally speaking, the soup is quite delicious, it is a rich and fragrant chicken soup, but when paired with noodles, it is best called noodle soup, which is not ramen.
I don't know what's wrong? Then, the chicken gizzards and meatballs in the soup are quite special. These two things appear in both the soup and the a la carte skewers, but they are not a special plus for me~
The sauce of the skewers is a bit salty, and I personally would not repurchase it. If there is a chance next time, I think I will order the chicken legs alone or add a soft-boiled egg~
There is ice cream to eat after the meal, which is quite refreshing! Like!
I won’t pay a special return visit unless my colleagues pick me up again at noon~
