After finishing brunch, I originally thought I wouldn't need to eat lunch anymore, but little did I know that before 3 PM, I was super hungry. Fortunately, I was in Chihshang on a work trip, so I randomly found a bento shop on the street to eat in.

The first impression this bento shop gave me was that it was very retro. I could imagine that thirty or forty years ago, there must have been a bento shop along the main road in Chihshang that travelers had to stop by. Moreover, even though it was past meal time, this shop still prepared the bento you wanted on-site, completely piping hot. It was amazing! Especially since at that time, it was completely empty at 3 PM.

The rice in the bento was perfectly cooked and definitely its strong point. The chicken cutlet was freshly fried, so it tasted very fresh and juicy. Paired with the moderately salty side dishes in the bento, I, who was very hungry at the moment, could have easily eaten two servings. Besides the rice, there was also clear soup available to enjoy.

Another unique feature of this shop is that it operates alongside a grocery store, so if you want a drink, you can directly grab one from the grocery store. It's very convenient!
