這次點的是店內最經典的臭豆腐以及豆花。臭豆腐一上桌便能聞到熟悉的發酵香氣，外皮炸得十分酥脆，咬下去立刻發出清脆的聲音，而裡面的豆腐卻依然保有柔嫩多汁的口感，形成鮮明的對比。搭配店家附上的台式泡菜，酸甜爽脆，不僅增加口感層次，也讓炸物吃起來更加清爽，不容易感到油膩。
吃完熱騰騰的臭豆腐後，再來一碗豆花正好畫下完美句點。豆花口感十分細嫩，入口即化，散發出濃郁的黃豆香氣，搭配糖水後甜度適中，不會過於甜膩，是一碗相當耐吃的傳統甜品。炎熱的池上天氣裡，冰涼的豆花特別消暑，也讓人感受到簡單食材最純粹的美味。
