To be precise, this place isn’t primarily a chicken rice shop.
I had the wrong expectations 🥲
Although it did redeem itself a bit, according to Fooday's strict star rating standards, in my heart, it still deserves only 3.5 stars 🌟.

In Jianghua City, there are many popular street foods in the Dongong market,
However, this one does not require queuing up 😂

I have certain standards when it comes to dining environments.
If it’s too dirty, too dark, or looks unclean,
No matter how delicious the food is, I will choose to walk away 🙂‍↔️.

The decor of this place is completely different from the small food stalls in the market.
In fact, I was already attracted when I searched for it online,
Then I found out it features chicken rice made with "bitter tea oil,"
So I specifically came to see how it actually tastes.

This time dining, I happened to encounter a big shot,
I ran into the boss' mother while having a meal 😅,
It was like meeting a local mother figure,
Her enthusiasm level was:
“I take care of listening and eating, she keeps talking,”
She briefly left to deliver something and then returned to continue 😂

There were no extra dishes added,
But she did introduce all of her children and grandchildren,
She also highly recommended their bitter tea oil and fish balls,
Boasting about how much her friends and grandkids love to eat them.

It was only then that I learned 😯:
👉 It turns out this "Xinming Jinduoxianglou" is their store for selling ready-to-eat dishes in the market.
👉 They primarily sell fish balls and other items, with their stall located diagonally across from this Duxianglou.
👉 They also have a restaurant.
(The boss’ mother didn’t specify the location, but while I was wandering around that afternoon, I unexpectedly found it 2 kilometers away 🤣)
👉 It is said that they have been operating for three generations.
👉 Their children are all highly educated, very smart, and outstanding, so in addition to running a market business, they are also actively utilizing various resources and expanding their market.
👉 The reason the decor of the shop is different is that the owner participated in a Ministry of Economic Affairs program, was selected, and received funding to refurbish the shop.
