A group of friends gathered for dinner, and it was my first time eating here. Almost all the staff are Indian, and the service is excellent; they can speak Chinese and English. The menu has pictures for reference, and it looks like authentic Indian cuisine with dishes that you generally wouldn't see elsewhere. There’s a 10% service charge, and card payments are accepted. There are fewer seats for dining in, so it’s recommended to make a reservation, as the business is very good.

Overall, the dishes have a strong Indian flavor, with a lot of spices; it's quite different from what typical Taiwanese people are used to eating, which might be a bit unfamiliar, but it’s actually very fragrant and special. At the beginning, while waiting for the food, the restaurant offered free spiced crackers, which were crispy and flavorful, and not bad at all.

We ordered cumin-flavored lamb strips, whole wheat mint naan, turmeric rice, and grilled curry chicken with onions and green peppers. There were three of us girls sharing, which was just about right.

The cumin lamb strips had a strong cumin flavor, which was a bit intense but tasty, without any lamb smell; it was slightly salty, so I suggest pairing it with naan or turmeric rice.

The whole wheat mint naan was freshly baked and was very good when eaten hot; it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a slightly sweet and chewy texture. The turmeric rice had beans mixed in, and it was Indian rice, with each grain distinct, which is different from Taiwanese rice but pairs well with curry.

I initially thought the grilled curry chicken with onions and green peppers would be very salty, but surprisingly it wasn't; the seasoning was just right, and the curry had a nice Indian flavor. The chicken was in large pieces and very tender, making for a satisfying meal without being too salty.

To finish, we ordered Indian spiced hot milk tea, which also came with a cinnamon stick. The spice flavor was perfect—not too strong, allowing the taste of the spices to come through. The sweetness was just right; I was surprised since I thought it would be too sweet. Other Indian restaurants I've been to served milk tea that was overly sweet, so it was perfect after the meal.

Lastly, the restaurant served a very special little dessert and invited us to review the restaurant, but they didn't pressure us or check on it. They were very generous, which explains why there are so many reviews on Google Maps. The dishes were genuinely delicious, and the flavors were just right for someone like me who prefers lighter tastes, which is different from the usually intense Indian dishes but still flavorful. The waitstaff were attentive and refilled our water whenever the cups were empty. The dining environment was comfortable with great service, so it absolutely deserves its high ratings. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, I highly recommend this place. My friends who came with me were very satisfied and we had a great time chatting.
