Taipei Neihu - Every time I pass this road, I'm overwhelmed by the smell of stinky tofu, and this time I finally came to give it a try! The dining environment is relatively clean, and the fried stinky tofu is of decent quality!

It’s fried very crispy, and overall the stinky tofu has a decent flavor. The accompanying pickled cabbage is Taiwanese style, with a stronger vinegar sweetness and good crunch. I ordered the small spicy sauce, which isn’t too spicy, and it’s really enjoyable to dip it in the sauce!

I ordered it without spice and noticed that the broth has added some Satay Sauce. I’m not a fan of too much satay sauce because it makes the entire soup greasy. I originally thought it would have a simple traditional herbal broth.
I haven't tried the spicy flavor; maybe it won’t have satay? I guess I’ll have to try it next time.

The stinky tofu portions are quite big, with a total of two pieces! The taste is good, but not outstanding. The duck blood is quite ordinary, and there’s some pickled vegetables added for flavor, making it quite heavy to finish.

I saw online reviews saying this is delicious, but I honestly think it’s just okay. I can’t taste the pork oil’s aroma; it feels like a simple soy sauce mixed rice. (It pales in comparison to my grandma’s pork oil mixed rice, humph!)

▶️ Overall Evaluation
🔹 It’s a pretty average stinky tofu shop with no standout features. The stinky tofu duck blood soup is a bit more expensive, and the value for money is okay. I might return occasionally if I crave fried stinky tofu.
