This small shop located on the outskirts of Beitou Market specializes in traditional handmade rice cakes, taro dumplings, taro rice cakes, meat dumplings, and sticky rice sausages. The rice cakes have a soft chewy texture, the taro dumplings are made with quality ingredients, and the unique sticky rice sausages include peanuts, resulting in good flavor.
In front of a shop located on the outskirts of Beitou Market, there is no sign or store name. This place sells traditional handmade foods three days a week, including bowl rice cake, taro dumplings, taro cakes, meat dumplings, and glutinous rice sausage, which are suitable for main meals or snacks.
Every time I go, I don’t see the meat dumplings; I’m not sure if they sell out early due to popularity or if they are seasonal products. The bowl rice cake is soft and chewy, and I really like the flavor. The taro dumpling is also made with quality ingredients. The glutinous rice sausage, which isn't on the menu, is good as it has peanuts added. It seems to be sold by the pound at 200. Overall, the traditional flavors sold at the market are quite delicious.
