The sashimi from Zhu Tian Fresh Fish is fresh and delicious, especially recommended are the salmon belly, amberjack belly, and yellowtail belly, which are melt-in-your-mouth and richly flavored with fat. The miso soup is also quite worth it, with plenty of ingredients and great taste. However, the sea urchin gunkan was somewhat disappointing, and it's advised to avoid ordering it.
The restaurant environment is suitable for late-night snacks, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, ideal for dining with friends. Open until the early morning, it allows night owls to easily enjoy delicious food.
The staff are friendly and helpful, offering two ways to place an order, allowing customers to choose according to their needs. Overall, the service experience is good.

After wandering around the crowded temple night market and letting our stomachs rest, it's time to continue with some late-night snacks!
Located near the Kanciatian Fish Market, Zhu Tien Fresh Fish is mainly open from late-night snacks until breakfast. Every time we come, there are a lot of people lining up, and this time was no exception; we joined in the fun as well. The ordering process is done by lining up to place an order and pay first, then picking up the food to enjoy.
Here, in addition to sashimi, there are also sushi, hot soup, donburi, and other dishes. This time we ordered:
⭐️ Sashimi Platter 💰400
(The paper menu listed it at 350, but we were informed of a price increase at checkout.)
The sashimi platter has a standard selection. If you want to customize your selection, you'll need to draw a number and wait for it to be called at the venue. The pricing is based on weight, and since there were so many people, we just ordered the standard platter. The fish pieces were cut quite large, and the freshness was decent.
⭐️ Sweet Shrimp/2 pieces 💰100
⭐️ Sea Urchin/2 pieces 💰120
The staff also recommended additional items, and we added these two at checkout. The sweet shrimp was fresh, and the sea urchin had no off-flavors.
⭐️ Miso Soup 💰30
There were quite a few ingredients in the soup, and having a bowl on such a cool evening was really warming.
In summary, after checking other online reviews, some mentioned feeling unwell after their meal. However, I did not experience that. There are also many other stalls selling sashimi near Kanciatian, so if you don’t want to wait, you can take a look around and maybe find some nice new options (laughs).

Taipei people’s late-night snack list is Zhutian Sashimi. It takes about half an hour to drive from Taipei. After eating, drive 10 minutes to drink fish soup. After eating, you can go home and sleep~
Zhu Tian only opens it at night (until early the next morning), so those who go to bed too early won’t be able to eat it!
The sashimi on site depends on the catch of the day. Basic items such as salmon, swordfish, sweet shrimp, etc. are basically available. If you want to eat something special, it may depend on your luck.
There are two ways to order food. One is to order the combination on the menu; the other is to choose your own sashimi (priced at one or two). The two queuing methods are different (you can ask the on-site clerk)
I made my own choice that day and ordered salmon belly, scallops, angel red shrimp, jellyfish belly, amberjack belly, sea urchin warship and miso soup. Among them, the most recommended ones are salmon belly, jellyfish belly and amberjack belly. Salmon belly The oil is uniform and melts in your mouth, and you can taste it fresh; the whole piece of jellyfish belly is rich in oil and has a slightly crispy texture. The oil that melts in your mouth when you bite it is extremely fragrant; the yellowtail belly is what everyone often hears The green glutinous rice dumplings are rich in fat and super sweet. These three are the best!
The raw scallops and angel red shrimp are also top-notch, and the miso soup is a must-try. It costs only NT$30 to have multiple courses~
The one I don’t recommend the most is the sea urchin warship. I can only say that the warship’s rice was very poor and soggy and sticky. The sea urchin was not fresh and sweet at all and had a bit of fishy smell. To be honest, I really shouldn’t order it!
But overall, the flaws are not outweighed. 100000% return visit. I have eaten there many times and recommend it to everyone~
