The special steak and filet steak are both delicious, but the special steak offers better value for money. The puff pastry soup is crispy and tasty, and the soup has a great flavor.
The dining environment is bright, requires a short wait in line, offers free drinks and ice cream, and the overall atmosphere is good.
The service attitude is good. Payment is required before ordering, and self-service drinks and ice cream are provided for customer convenience.
During meal time, there is a bit of a line, and I waited for about 20 minutes. After placing my order, I had to pay first.
I ordered:
The special steak for $200, served with mushroom and black pepper sauces. The meat was tender and overall tasted pretty good, but I thought the pasta part was a bit ordinary.
The filet steak for $300 also tasted quite good, paired with a mixed sauce. However, I felt that the special steak offered better value for money.
The meal came with a flaky pie soup; the pie was crispy and the soup was also delicious.
The restaurant also offers free drinks and ice cream, which you can serve yourself.
There is a restroom available for washing hands before dining. I thought the service attitude of the staff was pretty good.
The environment in the store is clean and bright, and the space is small. The seats are a bit crowded. Please pay attention to collisions when people move around. Tableware, sauces, drinks, and ice cream are all available for self-service. You must pay in advance when ordering.
About the meal
Special steak, NT$190. The steak is a little thicker than the sirloin and the meat is harder, which is better than the ones at ordinary night markets.
Sirloin steak, NT$210. The sirloin steak is relatively soft and tender, with quite a lot of beef tendon. The black pepper sauce is more obvious after you swallow it, but the taste is less obvious when you chew it again.
The crispy soup was not crispy enough on top, so I added it directly to the soup. The soup was very hot, so be careful. The corn soup had a light corn flavor, and there were not many ingredients. It was mainly soup.
For ice cream, I only had mango and caramel flavors. The mango taste was obvious, the caramel was light, and the cone was a bit hard.
