I went to a delicious chicken restaurant in Fukushima🐔

It’s called Sagiusu Purple, located a short walk from Fukushima Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line🚃

The restaurant is read as Sagiusu Purple🪻

There are counter and table seats, and a variety of alcoholic drinks lined up🍻

For the instant smoked chicken thigh sashimi🐔,
we had soy sauce, sesame oil + salt🧂, and ponzu✨
The smoking lid was opened right in front of us💨
We also had ginger🫚, wasabi, garlic🧄, yuzu pepper🔥, shiso leaves, and myoga added✨
The skin had a delicious smoky flavor and was really tasty🐔
There were plenty of condiments, allowing for a variety of flavors, which was delightful🐔

The grilled white negi with yuzu ponzu✨ was nicely charred with a great aroma
The sauce really stuck to the negi, allowing us to taste its sweetness, which was wonderful✨

The chicken namero🐔 had finely chopped chicken mixed with shiso, negi, miso, and sesame, making it rich and delicious🐔
It was perfect with drinks.

The rare chicken breast cutlet🐔 was quite rare and tender, with a crispy coating that was delicious🐔
It paired well with the wasabi and salt, making it a light dish🐔

The grilled chicken thigh with black pepper🐔 had a crispy skin, was juicy, and the sauce was incredibly tasty, with a nice kick from the black pepper🐔

The grilled chicken breast with mentaiko mayo🐔 was extremely tender and juicy🐔
It was slightly rare inside, and paired well with the mentaiko mayo, making it delicious🐔

The drinkable oyakodon🐔🥚 was made with chicken sashimi and egg yolk🐔
The chicken was very tender, and the thick egg yolk was so good it was understandable to be a drinkable dish
The sauce was tasty, creating a new sensation of oyakodon that was delicious🐔🥚

The final dish, chicken zen rice🐔🍚, had plenty of sliced chicken breast on top🐔
The broth was light and easy to eat, making it delicious 🍚
The pairing of wasabi and shiso leaves was great and added to the flavor✨

The chicken skin chips🐔 were crispy and juicy, crunchy, and very tasty🐔
The salt and pepper were just right, making them perfect for pairing with drinks🍻

Every dish was extremely delicious🐔

It’s a hidden gem of a restaurant, but there were many regulars making it a homey place✨
