This restaurant offers a diverse and high-quality selection of Japanese BBQ, ranging from A5 Wagyu beef to special desserts. The overall taste is delicious, and the service is professional. The thick-cut beef tongue and Basque dessert are particularly recommended.
The restaurant's decor is elegant, providing a comfortable dining environment suitable for various gathering occasions. Whether at the bar or in the seating area, one can enjoy a pleasant atmosphere.
The staff is well-trained and able to provide thoughtful service tailored to the guests' needs, carefully attending to everything from the doneness of the meat to personal preferences, making everyone feel at home.

Dickson's Fooday Mouth-watering Review #262
This visit was to one of Taipei's top Japanese premium yakiniku restaurants!
I think everyone must have heard of this place, Bahe Wagyu Yakiniku!
This place is often featured by bloggers on Instagram
and I have always wanted to visit and try it out.
Finally, I had the opportunity to eat here.
It truly lives up to its reputation!
Whether it's the food, atmosphere, or service, everything is top-notch~~~
After this visit,
I can only say that it is currently among my top few Japanese yakiniku restaurants in Taipei.
I personally highly recommend it!
You should definitely come here to try it once.
Moreover, the overall price is not excessively high.
Among the many top-quality Japanese yakiniku places, I think the cost-performance ratio is quite high!
Although its prices are indeed not cheap,
I believe it's worth it!
I highly recommend you definitely come and eat here.
I'll definitely be coming back again myself!
This restaurant offers a wide variety of menu items,
and the menu planning is quite exquisite.
Different cuts of meat are categorized,
so if you're unsure of what to order, you can opt for a set menu.
The set menu essentially covers all the types of meat well,
making it quite suitable for friends dining here for the first time.
Of course, there are also various a la carte meat options available.
If you know what you particularly like to eat,
you can immediately choose that cut to add to your order~~
Additionally, some items on the menu are limited edition,
so you can inquire with the staff on the day of your visit to place your order!
I can only say that the quality of the yakiniku here is outstanding.
This is surely also due to the excellent grilling skills of the staff.
The grilling is handled entirely by the staff,
and when ordering,
they will carefully ask you about your desired level of doneness
and will customize it to your taste.
Whether you prefer it rarer or more cooked,
they can cater to your needs~~
So I believe that the deliciousness of this yakiniku
partly stems from the staff's professional grilling skills!
This significantly enhances the overall quality of the yakiniku~~
Of course, aside from the basic yakiniku,
there are also other drinks and such to choose from.
Both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available here~
However, since I wasn’t planning to drink on that day,
I didn’t order any alcohol to try out.
Also, if you get the chance to visit and eat yakiniku here,
do not forget to order dessert when ordering!
The restaurant even humorously refers to itself in the menu as a dessert shop that was delayed by being a yakiniku shop.
So no matter what, you must try their Basque cheesecake!
This cheesecake is truly amazing!
Definitely worth ordering one to eat.
Saying more is useless! You should just order one yourself.
Their desserts are super awesome~~~

⭐️ Food Section
Although it was my first visit here,
after looking at the set menu,
comparing it with other a la carte items,
I ultimately decided to stick with a la carte.
This was mainly because there were parts of the set menu that I didn’t particularly love,
as the set included items like salad,
and I prefer meat.
I wasn’t too interested in the salad,
so I decided to order a la carte for the meat!
👉 A5 Omi Wagyu: Chunk Cuts $1080
👉 A5 Omi Wagyu: Lean Cuts $780
👉 A5 Omi Wagyu: Marbled Cuts $1250
👉 Australian Wagyu: Diaphragm $680
This time, I ordered quite a lot of meat cuts,
and every type was exceptionally delicious.
Moreover, when the dishes were served,
the staff clearly labeled the cuts of meat.
Before grilling,
the staff also carefully asked about the desired doneness and how to season it.
With their professional techniques,
I found all the meats and yakiniku to be quite delicious!
Regarding the portions,
I felt they were quite satisfactory.
I didn’t feel that any portion was too small,
although, of course, I selfishly wish for more! 😂😂😂
I think the quality of the yakiniku here is truly excellent!
Each cut has its own unique flavor and grilling sensation~
I hope to order other different cuts next time for new tastes!
👉 Salted Onion Beef Tongue $480
👉 Limited Thick Cut Beef Tongue $1050
As for the beef tongue,
I ordered the basic version of salted onion beef tongue,
along with the limited thick-cut beef tongue.
The basic salted onion beef tongue flavor is already quite good~
It resembles the thin beef tongue we would typically find in yakiniku restaurants topped with some salted onions and such.
I feel it is quite delicious when grilled.
The thinly sliced beef tongue isn’t too rare or too cooked,
and the added salted onions enhance the flavor perfectly.
The limited thick-cut beef tongue definitely lives up to its name.
The texture of the thick cut is entirely different from the thin beef tongue mentioned before.
Thick cuts provide that tender toughness feel.
I personally highly recommend that you definitely order this limited thick-cut beef tongue!
The overall texture and flavor are truly impressive!
I strongly recommend it!
👉 Truffle Beef Tartare $480
This beef tartare is also one of the specialty dishes here.
When served, you can see
it’s garnished with lots of truffles and white cotton candy powder.
It looks quite appealing,
and the raw beef portion is extremely tasty.
The overall flavor combined with the truffles and cotton candy powder
has a strong beef essence to it,
giving you the feeling of pure beef as soon as you take a bite.
I personally also highly recommend this special dish!
Everyone should give it a try!
👉 Japanese Sea Urchin Wagyu Sushi $320
The sushi here is more standard,
similar to the sea urchin sushi found in various specialized Japanese restaurants.
This sushi contains a slice of wagyu and some sea urchin.
Overall, the taste is quite pleasant,
but since other items are more eye-catching,
I feel the sushi here isn’t necessarily a must-order option.
👉 Plain Basque Cheesecake $760
As mentioned before,
even the restaurant itself states in the menu
that it is a dessert shop that was delayed by being a yakiniku shop.
When researching online,
many have noted that the Basque cheesecake here is a must-order.
As it turns out, everyone was right!!
The Basque cheesecake here comes in several flavors.
On that day, I tried the plain Basque.
A portion is pretty large,
so you don’t necessarily need to finish the whole cake there.
If you can’t finish it, you can ask the restaurant to pack the leftovers to take home.
Even if you eat half,
the overall packaging and box are exquisite
and it comes with special utensils.
This level of service is truly impressive.
Now, back to the Basque cheesecake itself.
I finally understand why it’s said to be a dessert shop delayed by a yakiniku restaurant,
because their Basque dessert is truly fantastic!
It’s probably the most creamy and delicious Basque I’ve had so far~~~
You really can’t miss out on this!
Is it too much to bring back a few more boxes?!
👉 Bahe Golden Charcoal Grill $620
Golden charcoal grill is another specialty dish here.
It consists of a small bowl of rice topped with a piece of wagyu
and served with a raw egg yolk,
which you mix together to create a perfect grilled meat rice bowl.
Although it may sound simple,
when everything is mixed together, it tastes amazing!
One downside is that the portion is quite small,
but it’s very worth it in terms of flavor!!
While they also offer rice as a starch option,
it still lacks something to serve as the main dish for the meal.
I personally think it feels more like a small appetizer or a specialty dish to enjoy halfway through the meal!
This dish is also one I highly recommend you give a try.
After all, both the presentation of the food and the texture are quite unique and impressive~
👉 Wagyu Beef Soup $260
The beef soup section is rather standard and ordinary,
but the combination of the raw beef with the added broth
is quite light and delicious~
For those who might be tired of meat,
you can order a bowl of soup to balance things out~
In terms of overall food performance,
I think it's quite good.
From the basic Japanese yakiniku,
the handling of various cuts of meat is very well done.
Eating it is a joyful and happy experience.
Additionally, other specialty items,
both in presentation and taste,
are quite remarkable.
To top it off, the Basque dessert provides
a perfect end to the entire meal!
Desserts are truly fantastic~
Thus, I think it's very worthwhile to enjoy the food here!
It definitely leaves room for another visit!
⭐️ Atmosphere Section
The restaurant's decor is very tasteful and elegant,
from the outside to the inside.
The indoor space is also quite spacious,
with table seating areas and a bar area.
Regarding the seating arrangement for Japanese yakiniku,
I believe it's a personal preference.
If you choose to sit at the front bar area,
you can see various staff handling the grilling of meats
and you can easily express your needs during the interaction.
If you opt for seating in larger group areas,
it would surely be more spacious and comfortable.
However, it seems these areas are often designated for larger gatherings.
On that day, I observed that
if two people dine, they usually get seated at the front bar area,
while groups of four or more are typically placed in the back at tables.
Overall, regardless of which area you sit in,
it won’t affect the quality of service here,
and because the overall space is quite expansive,
the dining experience is also quite enjoyable!
Even seated in the bar area,
the proximity to where food is prepared doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed by the smells or overly hot,
so there's no need to worry about any special differences!
Overall, I feel the environment and atmosphere are quite suitable for friends’ gatherings, family meals,
or for two people enjoying a nice dinner and celebrating special occasions.
⭐️ Service Section
As mentioned earlier,
I feel that the deliciousness of the yakiniku is partly due to the grilling skills of the staff here.
Each staff member appears well-trained
and strives to meet each customer’s needs.
For example, one of the friends I dined with is allergic to certain flavors,
so the staff may initially be unaware of this until the first dish was served.
Upon discovering the issue, they responded positively and proactively, taking back the dish
to make adjustments.
They also remembered our requests,
asking us again before grilling if there was anything we particularly wanted to avoid eating.
Additionally, because one friend had a habit of cutting the meat into smaller pieces,
the staff, once informed, provided extra service by cutting the meat to the requested sizes.
Thus, I feel the service aspect is quite commendable.
The staff accommodates each customer's specific needs
with thoughtful arrangements and handling!
This attention to detail is very considerate.
Also, when each different meat type is served,
the staff provides detailed descriptions of its characteristics and cooking methods.
So, on the whole, I feel very welcome regarding the overall service.
It truly adds to the experience!
⭐️ Price Section
While this restaurant is also among the priciest Japanese yakiniku places in Taipei,
I still feel it is worth it overall.
The prices are certainly on the higher side,
but based on the overall food, service, and performance,
I feel paying this price is quite justified!
And it’s not excessively expensive~
I think it can definitely be included on your wish list for celebrating various special occasions or anniversaries.
Currently, Taipei has numerous high-priced Japanese yakiniku restaurants,
but some are just expensive without providing true luxury.
Bahe Wagyu is, in my opinion, a premium yakiniku restaurant that is high-priced yet of high quality!
⭐️ Overall Summary
After this visit,
I can understand why so many people recommend Bahe Wagyu Yakiniku.
Its overall performance is truly noteworthy.
Aside from delicious various types of grilled meat,
the service overall is very welcoming.
Plus, their desserts are genuinely amazing.
I think everyone must come and try this out!
I will definitely visit again.
After all, there aren't many truly delicious high-end Japanese yakiniku restaurants,
and if we’re paying premium prices, we deserve to eat well!
I recommend this place to everyone!
